  • Festool !!
Great set with domino bits. Keeps everything organized.

  • Expensive, but what can you do?
I didn't want to attempt making my own tenon stock so these were what I ordered. A few of them were slightly loose in the mortises (tried several mortises, and other tenons so I know it wasn't the mortises). So I tossed those as I came to them and picked another one. Quality control issue?

  • Within Festool, a good value for the money
This set has everything I need to accompany a new Domino purchases. The wide selection of tenons gives me flexibility as I learn the tool. The included cutters save me from buying them individually. Finally, the Systainer3 is a nice case and I appreciate the extra carrying handle over the Systainer2. Once I realized this set comes with five cutters the value proposition flipped for me as those are near $50 a peace. I give this five stars as a starter kit for someone new to the Domino. I won’t be buying it again as it’s started my setup. Domino tenon sets fill up each storage compartment perfectly as I use them. ... show more

  • Great product
This is one of the great product that I have ever purchased from Amazon. I am amazed by the quality and accuracy of the dominoes in the package. I tried all the sizes in the package and they match exactly as the different cutter sizes. On the other hand, I think this package is a bit of over priced.

  • Good Assortment
Nice to have a good amount of each size at hand. Just wish it was a little less pricy than a BMW motorcycle.

  • I like the misc selection and bits but I’m annoyed
Festool sells itself as essentially 6s, which includes labeling and safety. None of the containers or bits were labeled. While there are bins, you will need to measure and label all the parts yourself. I didn’t and I accidentally grabbed a 6mm instead of the 5mm which led to headaches before I realized what had happened. My next step will be to stop procrastinating the labeling and get it done. For the price we pay, that should already have happened on the Festool end. ... show more

  • You need dust extraction
First: if you're dulling cutters, it's probably because you're not using a vacuum. The Domino NEEDS dust extraction, otherwise the wood chips just make heat, and heat is the enemy of cutting tools. Vacuum is not optional like a biscuit joiner. I've cut untold numbers of mortises with one cutter and it keeps going. Secondly: yeah, it's expensive. It's Festool, so that's a given. It's also very good. The thing people need to understand about this tenon kit is you're less buying the tenons, but the cutter heads and the case to keep it all in, from that perspective it's a a good value as they each cost $50, and then another $100+ for the systainer. If you'll be using the range of sizes, it's a no brainer, as the tenons in the kit are basically free at that point. ... show more
