  • WORKED EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED
Style: Cordless w/ Battery
I needed a biscuit joiner for a particular project & was looking for a decent quality product at a reasonable price. The WEN cordless joiner proved to be the perfect choice. Very easy to handle & operate. I had never used a biscuit joiner before, so I read the instructions & watched a couple of You Tube instructional videos before attempting to use it on the actual project. I practiced making a few cuts on some scrap wood, which allowed me to adjust for the exact location & depth of the required cuts. It worked perfectly. A+ for ease of use, quality of cuts & bang for the buck. ... show more

  • Works as designed
Style: Joiner
Feels like good quality. I've used it 3 times and it works well. Nice case also.

  • Great tool for the price
Style: Joiner
Just received this the other day, and had my first opportunity to use it yesterday. Setup is very easy (except for the depth adjustment) and works very well overall. The only real flaw in its operation is the dust collector. This chute is very narrow, and clogged almost immediately. The collection bag provided barely had any sawdust, as it couldn't get through the chute. I would have to vacuum it out after every few cuts. The other negative of this tool - and the reason for 4 stars - is the depth adjustment. The lock-nut is an odd size - I think 7mm though I haven't found a wrench that fits yet, and it comes with so much thread lock on the tiny screw that it is really hard to turn (I had to adjust mine for the harbor freight biscuits I bought because their #0 were just slightly larger than the one that came with the cutter. Overall, I do recommend this tool for the price. I can't imagine the need to spend hundreds of dollars for something where the $50+ I paid does the job. I only wish I had owned one of these tools years ago! ... show more

  • Perfect for my needs
Style: Joiner
My old biscuit joiner was stolen from a storage locker, and even though I occasionally use this tool it is critical when i need it. The Wen performs very well, and is well priced considering I only use it once in a while

  • So much fun

Ok. This was fun to use and made my first book shelf top. 100% recommend

  • Excellent value
Style: Joiner
This did its job. Not the most refined tool in terms of ease of adjustment, but it still gets the job done.

  • Easy to use and to line up biscuit holes
Style: Joiner
Let me start by saying, biscuits aren't necessary for most panel glue-ups when there's a decent amount of wood surface area for the glue and clamping is done correctly. I decided to use this when I ran into a project with a panel build that didn't have a lot of surface area. I never owned one before, my first biscuit joiner. The machine is very well designed and simple to use. I have zero complaints. The panel ended up holding well. Did I need the added stability of a few biscuits? I don't know. Better to be safe than having to reglue a weak panel. As far as the tool review, I have no complaints. WEN usually includes a case with their tools. No exception here. For this level of tool, I appreciate that WEN can offer value (lower price for higher quality) compared to the much more expensive alternatives. I probably will never need a 2nd biscuit joiner. But if I do, this is the one I will buy. ... show more

  • Happy with purchase; needs a better blade
Style: Joiner
I unboxed the biscuit joiner and put it through its paces after checking the accuracy of the fence and the depth gauge. Both were accurate out of the box. I joined some scrap lumber using some of the included #20 biscuits and the fit was perfect. I’m not sure how it would hold up under heavy use, since some of the components are of cast aluminum, which can be brittle, but I’ll only need it occasionally, so I’d say it’s fine for the home woodworker or for light use by professionals. My only complaint Is the OEM blade. As others have mentioned, it’s surprisingly dull. It actually burns harder wood, producing smoke that has made some customers decide to return the tool. So for an extra 25 bucks, I ordered a Freud blade to replace the OEM blade. It now cuts like butter. And yes, I had to spend extra but it’s still a good value and now a tool I’ll actually use. ... show more
