Needed a shoe I could slip on and off when the weather was bad, when I needed to take the dog out, when I just needed to take a quick stroll to the store. I have a lot of shoes, but they are all nicer, more expensive shoes that I don't want to risk in terrible weather, or going to the dog park in the winter time. These shoes fit the bill, cheap, look good, easy to slip on/off. As others have said, they can get a little hot since they are synthetic, but it's never bothered me, it was really only noticeable when I took the shoe off after wearing it for a while. I wear a size 9.5 and I ordered a size 10, seems to fit perfectly. Other shoe manufacturers recommend for Chukkas or ankle-high boots that you order a half-size larger, so I followed that advice (My other shoes are Taft, etc.). The only negative I've had is that I've had some mad burn in on my right foot, where I've gotten blisters/scabs on the top of the knuckle of my big toe (where the toe meets the foot, essentially), where it's made it really painful to wear them or walk in them. This isn't uncommon when breaking in new shoes, and my left foot does not have this problem at all and is very comfortable. Since I've broken in the shoes, my right foot does not have this problem anymore and is doing fine. ... show more

This is a great price for the quality of these boots . A little stiff at first but after wearing two times they got broke in very nice and are very comfortable I like these because they are true slip one , no sipper on these boots .

Odd journey for me with these Chelsea’s. I realized I needed to up my footwear game and these were far from first on the list. But eventually, I got to them. Then I tried them on, felt how comfortable they were, but had a hard time wearing them out in public. Eventually i worked up the nerve and now they’re some of my most consistently worn footwear. Especially with anything black jeans. I accidentally tore the grip strap thing off the back of one of them but I’m going to attribute that to operator error and not shoddy worksmanship. Loved the boots/shoes originally! Got multiple pairs in Brown and Gray. I received compliments on the style from colleagues and they fit & felt good. There is a felt liner inside them and the soles are soft ,flexible but durable. After about 2 weeks of wearing them to work, I noticed the tip of the finish had started to wear-off and the underlying material was now visible. (see pic) - This happened because I put my feet under the chair at an angle and they rubbed on the office carpet - the carpet is not abrasive and this hadn't happened to any other of my shoes when wearing them to work!! Very disappointed - finish was not durable - less than 2 weeks and this happens. Unfortunately i was on a work trip and missed my return window..... I hope to find a similar style but with a better-more durable finish. ... show more
