  • Sturdy, well made boot
Size: 10 Color: Brown
I bought these for my husband as a gift and I’m glad I did. He got great use of them for 2 years! They look awesome with jeans and a nice sweater or with a flannel. Comfortable and durable with a beautiful look. My husband ended up buying his son a pair as well and he is just as happy.

  • Shoes so good I bought 2 pairs
Size: 11 Color: Rust Grey (Lace-up)
These are really cool, nice looking, comfortable shoes for the money. I wear 10.5s (US Mens) and they fit perfectly. I get a lot of comments from my buddies asking me where I got these shoes. They are usually surprised when I tell them they were $40 on Amazon. I've had a gray pair for the better part of a year without issue. Some of the sole has been slightly chipped by accidental contact with curbs and the like, but this is very minor. They have developed a slight crease that isn't really noticeable on the top of the foot where it naturally bends diring walking. The gray pair I bought in size 11 after reading a review saying they run small. THEY DO NOT RUN SMALL, THEY ARE THE RIGHT SIZE. They ran a tad big but it's manageable with tight lacing. I also wear 10.5 in Nike and Asics for reference. The second pair I purchased in brown (10.5) a couple of months back and they still look nearly brand new. This pair fits a bit better because the are the correct size. If you take care of these shoes they will last a decent amount of time. I have somewhat of a high arch so flat shoes kill my feet; these have excellent support and are very comfortable. The inside fabric plaid-pattern is also a nice touch. ... show more

  • great fit, nice style, easy on-off side zip, untie themselves easily
Size: 11 Color: Charcoal
These fit was expected... my normal shoe size is 11.5. since these didn't have half sizes, I went with the 11 and they fit perfectly. (similar prior experience with Madden boots) They're not overly comfortable. I don't feel like these were made to be comfortable, rather, they were made to have a "look" and they do that pretty well in my opinion. They feel like old-school combat boots (like ww2 era) thin but fairly rigid soles with decent grip but could still be ok on a smooth dance floor if that's something you're looking for. They walk fairly loud on hard floors. Even trying to soften your step will take more effort than the reward you'll get from the barely reduced noise. Adding Gel insoles made these much more comfortable, however if you use thick insoles on the smaller than half size boot (like in my case) the outer part of the boot becomes noticeably tighter. Had I opted for a 12 rather than 11, I do not believe this would be the case and could potentially be much more comfortable. I rotate these with other shoes and boots so I do not need them to be comfortable for days at a time. I choose these when I don't believe I'll be walking for hours or long distances, though I'm certain they'd be alright if the need were there. I'm curious to see how long they hold up. The build quality appears just fine so that's simply going to take a test of time. I would likely purchase another item from this maker. ... show more

  • they're also BEAUTIFUL! They feel cheap but look expensive
Size: 12 Color: Brown
Let me make something clear: these shoes are CHEAP. I don't expect them to last a season. Then why the 5 stars? Because as cheap as they are, they're also BEAUTIFUL! They feel cheap but look expensive. They look just as in the pictures, if not better. Everyone compliments them and asks me where I got them. One guy told me if they didn't have shoes for men at the store, but it was clearly out of jealousy (his girl complimented them lol). Another guy laughed and said I looked like a Cuban narc, whatever that means lol Also clearly jelly cuz he looked like he dressed in the dark lmao As to how they feel, they're not too uncomfortable but, like I said, they feel cheap and are nowhere near the amount of comfort and support a proper pair will give you, but for under 50 these should be a no brainer! Get them. You won't regret it. And if you have wide feet like I do, ignore the "order a size smaller please" disclaimer; I'm glad I did. Ordered my regular size and after a couple hours of disconfort they gave in and now fit perfectly. Finally, whoever touches them will immediately know they are cheap Chinese shoes. The material is made to look like leather but feels and smell nothing like it. This isnt even faux leather quality lol Ah, almost forgot. Whoever decided to stamp "Ferro Aldo" on the soles has all my despise sent his way. The brand name sounds like an Aldo knockoff, obviously. ... show more

  • GREAT looking ... but watch the sizes !!!
Size: 10.5 Color: Brown (Lace-up)
There are 2 different "instructions" on the listing that reference sizes when ordering. One says order a "1/2 small" (a little confusing) the chart further down says order "1 full size smaller than your usual". I wear a size 11 and ordered a size 10.5. Unfortunately, it's too small. Just order your typical shoe size and that should be correct. I've reordered a size 11 and will return the 10.5s. Apart from that ... these shoes are AMAZING looking and seem to have great quality workmanship in their construction!!!! ... show more

  • Great boots, half a year lifespan.
Size: 11 Color: Brown
After 5 months of using these boots, I've come back to give a better review. Amazing boots! I Power walk everywhere I go, so it was impressive that these stylish boots are still viable after 5 months of heavy use. I'm writing this now because after 5 months of heavy usage, they are just now starting to break down a little. Warning: These boots feel tight/restrictive when you first get them. Once you break them in, they are quite comfortable as far as boots go. The seams are getting a little loose and the heels are worn down quite a bit, but they still look great and are fully functional. I don't doubt I'll get at least another month out of these....so they last about half a year with daily heavy usage. Some people claim to receive damaged/defective boots from Ferro Aldo, but that's not the case for me personally. I love them and I'll probably use them as my boot supplier until the day I die. ... show more
