    • Small & Quick Stand Perfect For My Needs

Typically, once me and the family arrive onsite, we would just have to unload and lay our bikes down on the ground. Not a big deal, but they were becoming a bit of a trip hazard and taking up a fair amount of space. So I started looking for a stable but small stand so it didn't take up alot of space in the bed of the truck. After some trial and error, I finally found this stand and am really happy with it. The size is perfect, build quality is good and helps hold our bikes up to rinse off after a ride. I carry a RinseKit with me, so after a ride, I can put the bike in the stand anywhere I want and then spray it down with the RinseKit before loading back up to go home. So it's been a nice improvement for our rides and I'd recommend it. Here are my Pros and Cons: Pros: - Item came fully assembled right out of the box - Build quality seems good and sturdy (time will tell) - Smaller size is a pro for me. It's big enough to hold my full size bike, but small enough that it doesn't take up storage space. - Foldable - Ability to connect or daisy-chain to other holders. (I don't use this, but seems like a nice option) - Stand is helpful holding the bike up to wash it after a ride Cons: - Tire can stick into the stand making difficult to pull the bike out at times - Can pinch fingers when folding/unfolding (Not really a con, but something to look out for) - I haven't experienced this, but have seen other reviews saying that it can be difficult to put bikes in the stand when they are daisy-chained together. ... show more

The bike stand works perfect for my road bike. It is very well built, easy to use and is very stable. I like the fact that multiple stands can be connected together as needed. I will definitely be purchasing additional stands for my other bikes.

    • Amazing Rack - Weak Attention to Simple Detail
First the bad: I ordered a white version and got sent a black one. I'm not picky, so it wasn't a big deal, but this is a very annoying mistake. It's not that hard to pay attention to the order and take some pride in the details. The good: it's an amazing rack/stand that is sure to hold your bike. I tested it with my 29er MTB, as well as my Cyclocross bike! and it performed great (even with those varied wheel widths). The arm puts just enough pressure on the tire to hold the bike in place without touching or damaging the rim. Fantastic product! ... show more

    • Perfect Stand for my bikes both at home and at the office!
Fantastic bike stands; simple and elegant engineering. Very sturdy. I bought two of these after looking over all the stands available. I am very happy with this purchase. These stands are unobtrusive, fold away nicely when not being used and connect together nicely. If you cannot use the hanging stands (due to space/wall limitations/etc) this would be the next best thing. The only downside is that they can slide slightly when on lower-friction surfaces (e.g. linoleum, some hardwood floors, etc). The best part is that this device will hold either my road bike or my mountain bike without touching the spokes or the rim. Very well designed. Based upon the success of this stand at home and my recommendation, my office bought 5 of these for those who ride bicycles to work each day. So far it is one of the best purchases we've made to help organize the office (and it keep the bikes indoors and safe). At the office we put down a heavy high-friction mat under the stands to prevent sliding on the linoleum flooring where the bikes are stored during the day. When I buy my next bike, I will be purchasing another one of these stands. I recommend this product to all of my friends who own bikes. ... show more

I ordered this stand after my unblemished jewel of a road bike decided to begin a first-name-basis relationship with the ground. I was a little bit unsure of what to expect, since I had seen a few reviews state that road bike tires were too narrow for it, but I went ahead with the purchase anyway. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived to find it was ready to go, straight out of the box. It fit my bike beautifully (700 x 23c wheels, no disc brakes). It also doesn't matter if I put the front or rear tire into it, it holds the bike upright securely. I tried it out on my wife's hybrid bike as well, and found that her wider tires also fit perfectly into the stand. The best part I found about the stand was that you can connect several of these together to make a multi-bike stand, either in a straight line configuration, or a variety of circle sizes if you want. I liked the product's design and functionality so much that I have purchased another one for my wife to use as well. *****UPDATE June 21, 2013***** This bike stand continues to shine. It not only works with light road bikes with narrow tires, but heavier bikes (hybrid with 700c wheels and mountain bike with 26" knobbies) as well. We recently had a wind storm come through before we had a chance to bring the bikes in. All bikes were held securely. I do suggest using the rear tire in the stand for maximum stability, but it can hold either end in a pinch. ... show more

Mountain bike tires barely fit into the base. It works better for gravel and road bike tires. It's well made.
