I work as a package handler at fedex and let me tell you, this product is great! No back sprains. The triangle part helps my lower spine with all aches I may feel. It is weird that the sizing is only in one of three (S/M, L/XL, XXL). I would have preferred XL only, but found that L/XL was a bit snug, taking some trial and error, as it were, to find the right fit. This is my third different product I've used the past 4 years. I have found that this one, with the silicon lumbar pad provided the best support. Without the support it provides, I often get sciatic pain in 10-15 minutes of walking. Since my lumbar fusion, I've worn a back brace when doing any work for years. The one I've had felt almost identical to this and I used it all the time. I got paint on it during my last project and I couldn't find the name brand on it to replace it. I have now tried 3 other braces since. None of them worked the same as my old one. I gave two of them to my son but by the 3rd one, it was starting to get expensive and the 3rd one actually hurt more wearing it than without. so I'm returning it. This is the 4th and final one. I feel like Goldilocks now. As soon as I put it on I knew it was the right one. It fits comfortable, smooth, great support. I'm really happy. I'm going to watch the price and if they have a special or a deal, I just might buy a spare after having such a hard time finding the right one. ... show more

I have always had back pain when I work around the yard, so much that after a few hours, I am stooped over when I walk to reduce the pain. With this brace, I was pain free for four hours of strenuous outside labor the first time I wore it. Same result for the second time. I was also impressed with the security of the hold given by the velcro fasteners. Even with maximum pressure on bending over, there was no sign of the fasteners giving way and loosening up. The brace works pretty good, not to bulky so it can be hidden. Only issue would be pants around the band, some time makes pants hard to keep up. But honestly this thing helps a-lot. I can even sleep in it. I use it for when im doing activities that stress my lower back out, or for days my back is just sore. For the price this thing is amazing. Minor gripe would be that it can dig into your sides a-little and the velcro likes to stick to briefs. But i am overall pleased. ... show more

I didn't buy it for back pain but for back injury prevention and it's awesome. I can squat passed my max now in the gym with confidence, something I was afraid to attempt. Extremely comfortable, and solid support. I wish I had this sooner. So far, no cons for me.
