This is exactly what I need for my daughter. It is very lightweight as advertised, compact, and easy to maneuver. She is very petite at 5’2” and needs a chair that she can easily lift into her car. We had a Drive Blue Streak with 24” wheels. However it is way too bulky, doesn’t fit in a car trunk, and she cannot lift it. The Feather is perfect. It is compact enough to easily fit into a vehicle without straining to lift it and can be lifted with one hand. I am so excited to find this wheel chair for my daughter. She is a young adult and has starting having mobility issues. She can only walk short distances, and has become unable to go out by herself because she could not get a chair in/out of the car by herself. I am working on a lift and other mobility aids but this will be a huge help until I get everything else in place for her. I also noticed that it is very easy to fold/unfold and the feet are easy to remove or attach as needed. I am so happy! This is my 3rd attempt at a wheelchair for her and I wish I had found this one sooner. The wheels are 22” compared to 20” for the other lightweight chair I tried for her. The additional 2” makes a big difference in maneuvering for a short person and it is still more lightweight than the smaller chair I am returning. The Feather Light arrived last night and I opened it this morning. I am a life-long wheelchair user and own one of the best wheelchairs you can buy. I bought this one to use in my convertible for trips to the restaurant or store. This machine is remarkable. First of all, it came a week early. I was expecting a week from yesterday. Secondly, it is really light. It is lighter than my titamium wheelchair which cost $5,000.00. Thirdly, the engineering is incredable. Every component is engineered for cost effectiveness and weight. By far the lightest wheelchair ever! Easy to remove footrest and rolls great. The only flaws are the slickness of the aluminum pushrim and inability to remove armrests, but still better than the others at this cost.

The wheelchair came exactly as described- easy to assemble etc. I am using it to attend some volleyball games and to avoid sitting on bleachers. I recommend buying the three inch pad along with the wheelchair.

    • Brakes fell off 2 weeks after end of 6 month warranty

Chair is lightweight and easy to transport. However, parts are obviously cheap as one of the 2 brakes fell off just 2 weeks after end of 6 month warranty. Certainly not worth the cost if it is such poor quality.

Normally I am lazy to write reviews, but I felt I wanted people know about this product. My special daughter weighs 210lb 5’8” and she doesn’t like to walk on her own. We used this feather light chair transported her inside the airport, museums, and even in parks. As her mother, I am not that strong. But it’s so easy for me to push her around and to load it to my trunk of the car, even to carry up the stairs. I absolutely love this chair and strongly recommend it to others. ... show more
