I love goose/duck down/feather bedding items! This one is queen size, white and has nice box quilt stitching to help keep the down well distributed throughout the comforter with double stitching and a nice soft feel to the cotton cover. This may be used by itself, but personally because it's white I will only use it inside a duvet cover. I like this meets manufacturing certification standards for materials. This comes compressed so you'll need to open it up and lay it out.. pat it around a bit while giving it time to fluff up. This is easy care cold water machine wash and fluff/low temp dryer. So when I stack this up VS the regular price $69.99 per the listing I'm ok with it. Good quality down feather products are not cheaply priced. This duvet is EXACTLY what our bed has been missing. I can't tell you how many bedspreads and quilts and comforters we have been through, trying to find something that was "just right." We finally found it with this! Out of the box, my husband's first words were, "This feels exactly like a hotel bedspread." I thought he meant it as a negative, but he was actually excited. It is the perfect weight and density for the two of us. It keeps you at a very comfortable temperature without suffocating. While we've only tried it through these colder months, I have a feeling that this particular weight of duvet is going to be useable throughout the entire year. I'm not sure how easy it is to clean yet because we haven't needed to. If I happen to encounter any issues when that time comes, I will be sure to update my review. Otherwise, at this price, you really can't beat the quality and comfort of this thing! We love it! ... show more

I needed a new comforter for my guest bedroom and stumbled upon this. I didn't want or need to buy an extavagent 100% down one. This works perfectly. It arrived in a small vacuum sealed bag. After opening, I was able to fluff it up real nice in the dryer on an air cycle. The fabric was a little stiff at first, but broke in a bit after some time in the dryer. Hopefully it will get softer with use. I was weary of a feather filled comforter, as I have had pillows in the past that were filled with feathers, and I would get pricked every once in a while. I haven't had an issue with this comforter, am assuming the weave of the fabric is durable enough to prevent feathers from sticking through.     • Love this comforter, read my 3 step stain removal/ washing instructions
I love this duvet. It is so warm and fluffy. I sleep so good with this duvet. I strongly recommend this down duvet, you will not be disappointed! In case you get a stain on it and need to wash it follow my instructions: This is actually how dry cleaners do it. 1st step: stain treatment: blot off as much of the spill as you can then boil about 1/2 a cup of water, mix the hot water with laundry detergent and about a tbsp of color safe oxy. Scrub that mixture into the spot until you see it blur out, if it doesn’t blur let it it sit there for a while. 2nd step: it’s best to do this at a laundromat because you will want to use a big machine, if you have a front loading washer at home it might work but trust me, you will want to use a large machine. Wash the comforter in cold water with a small amount of detergent. Most gentle cycles do not give the best spin so i suggest a regular cycle as long as you are in a large front loading machine. The goal is to make sure you get all the soap out of the comforter. If you find any residue, give it another rinse. It might actually just be best to give it a second rinse cycle either way. 3rd step: dry. Place in dryer on NO HEAT for about two hours. If you want to speed it up you can start with low heat for about 30 minutes to an hour- depends how hot the machine gets, but eventually switch it to no heat. The drying process can take several hours because you want to make sure you get it fully dry with the least amount of heat. The main points: cold wash, minimal detergent, extra rinse, dry with little to no heat, but make sure it gets fully dry. You may notice a funny smell while it is wet, down tends to do that when wet, it will go away once fully dry. Doing this will keep you from having to spend a fortune at the dry cleaners (they dont dryclean it, they wash it the way I just showed you) ... show more

    • Makes crunchy sounds kinda like very dry thick leaves breaking up
I ordered this for our guestroom. It is all right for occasional use. This comforter does fluff up after removal from the vacuum packing and has plenty of points to tie our duvet cover to it. The problem it the crunchy noises it makes; truly not something I would want to use everyday in my bedroom. I do not know if the noises would eventually cease with everyday use. I personally, cannot stand the noise (yes, I have hypersensitive reactions to some sounds and textures) enough to try and expunge the sound by repeated use. For the comfort level (not significantly better than my bedroom comforter at 1/2 the price), annoying sounds (see above), and the description that implies down (with statements like: “100% white duck feather down” and “Our goose down comforter …) without clearly stating 90% feathers 10% down (as the tag on the comforter says) I deducted two stars. ... show more

When I received the comforter it was vacuumed packed and as the months went by the comforter for even more cosy. I like the weight of this quilt and it’s very nice definitely worth more than what the seller is asking for. I bought many quilts through the years and this is the quilt to purchase.
