I live in an apartment without a dishwasher. I bought this to eliminate doing dishes in the sink. Unfortunately since I live in a handicap accessible apartment that has the counters, all lowered and the cabinets, all lowered, I had to come up with a different way to install it. Having very little counterspace, I added a table at the end of the counter that matched the counter height perfectly at 24 inches and it fits beautifully there. I use it every single day and it cleans so well it makes me very happy. It even holds my 6 quart pot and other large items. But not all at one time of course. My only regret is that I wish I had bought it much sooner than I did because I hate to do dishes! It even has a self cleaning feature that after it cycles, you easily remove the filter and simply rinse it and reinstall it. That is super easy. ... show more

I have to say that after 15 years of not having a dishwasher I am thrilled with this little dishwasher! Setup was very easy and straightforward. I live alone in a one bedroom apartment so this is perfect for me...no room for a floor model portable. I've used it now for a week and it works incredibly well! It is honestly whisper quiet and I find with a good detergent and rinse aid it washes and dries perfectly. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone and actually have! ... show more

Before buying I read so many reviews about this dishwater. Now having it a few months this is what I can say. Installation easy depends on your faucet. For mine it took a little work but wasn't complicated. Size and weight...it was bigger than I expected. It was a pleasant surprise. It wasn't to heavy. I was able to move it by myself. Profomance...it is amazing! It doesn't heat water so I recommend setting ur faucet on hot. The drying session doesn't do anything. I just towel dry or put the dishes in the strainer to air dry. Some pots and pans of mine (large size and up) wouldn't fit. I wash mine on heavy soiled and it does take about 1.5 hours. They r spotless tho. I have not tried the quick 45 min version. Personal opinion...I have a larger family (most pots and pans don't fit) so this works perfect for basic daily plates, bowls and utensils. I then do a quick hand wash with cookware. I would most definitely buy this again. It helps me keep my kitchen clean and now no fights about someone doing the dishes. ... show more

Packagsing was in damaged. Product looked good. As soon as it was hooked up to water source water was pouring from the bottom. Never even got to turn it on. No support from amazon nor farberware.

I love this thing. It works very well. The quick adapter doesn't leak, just make sure to adjust the amount of rubber rings to match your needs when you add the metal part to your faucet. It cleans the dishes very well. It doesn't seem to use much water, which is nice. I've never used a dishwasher before, but I figured it out pretty easily. It comes packed really well, but the box is very big and a bit heavy, just be prepared for that. ... show more

    • Doesn't drain water out of hose. False window. Nothing to keep disconnected hose in sink.
I've had this dishwasher for 4 months. It does clean the dishes really well. And the black window and white body brings my mismatched appliances together nicely. However. That's as good as it gets. There is no suction cup to hold the hose in the dishwasher like other brands have. So the hose will slip out of the sink when not connected and onto the floor. Which brings to my big issue. It does not drain well. From moment you disconnect it there is water at the top pouring out. When the hose falls on the floor it floods with water. I have tall counters I can't drain the entire hose out so we have been hanging it on the curtain hook. I discovered today that the rancid smell I've been having the past few days with the warm weather is actually the water stuck in the hose. Some minor cons is you pay more for a false window. And I hate the dish rack. I would love to replace the dish rack but I have not found one for these small counter top dishwashers. The prongs are slanted strictly for plates. Not ideal for pan/pot lids. The mug or cooking utensil rack is constantly slanted up can't be put to a 90° angle. And I do have some trouble with the height. My butter knives appear to be too long and so they must be at a slant to be able to fit in. Overall it's a nice machine as far as cleaning goes. I need to find a way to mount the hose to sink. But that won't fix the trapped water near base that causes a terrible odor. ... show more
