The media could not be loaded. I like the Black Decker portable washer and bought this Black Decker dishwasher. However, the parts are cheap looking and the product doesn’t even work. 1) Delivery: the package arrived carelessly in the hallway of the building, boxes all beaten up and doesn’t even have the label Fragile. 2) There are plenty of dents and one is remarkably large. It must have been because the package wasn’t even labeled Fragile. 3) Adapter to faucet is not working causing water flowing out when in use. I had to use my own faucet adapter. 4) Water pouring out the drainage hose when the machine in use, causing water damage to my floor.     • Not compatible with many faucets!
Once I finally got this dishwasher going, I am very happy with the functionality, but it was a nightmare to get it hooked up. I had a faucet with a pull down sprayer and as soon as I opened the dishwasher box I realized that it wasn’t going to work. I hoped I could find an adapter to work with the faucet but none at Home Depot worked for it. Then I bought a new faucet with a regular spout and unscrewed the aerator and that one didn’t work either. I looked for an adapter for that faucet and none were available at Home Depot that worked either. I grabbed another faucet, a Moen, which is not the color I wanted or anything, and still I needed an adapter to work with the dishwasher adapter. There was an adapter at Home Depot that worked this time so at least I was able to hook it up. I really bought this portable dishwasher in hopes of an easy plug and play without having all the headache of installing an in-cabinet dishwasher, and in the end it is probably still easier, but it required so many trips to the hardware store and multiple purchases to figure out the solution. I love my new dishwasher. I have had no problems with it. It rolls easily and fits great in my small kitchen. I put a cutting board on top of it and I have a new prep area. Well worth the money.

    • Was Hopeful But Disappointed
I was super hopeful for this product because my significant other and I both HATE doing dishes, and we dont own our own home yet to just get an actual dishwasher. The one review pointed out that they received it damaged and I was hoping this wouldn't be our case. It was. The box was banged up pretty good but I thought "maybe the dishwasher is fine" it had about an 8 inch dent on the door and a bulge towards the back right. I called Amazon and asked if I could test it first because I felt bad having to send something like this back. I was told that i could. It ran but sadly had a drip in the back. So I called about a replacement because I had just recieved it and bought the 5 year warranty. I was told that was possible through multiple people at Amazon, but when they had sent me to black and decker to explain it they said that they can't offer a replacement for this particular item. I tried to be patient and hopefully will get the call back to see what they could do as far as a replacement but nothing yet. It runs but leaks, so I may end up having to spend the money to fix it myself but I'm still pretty upset that I spent the money to have to fix it. To be honest I don't even know if I'm going to try and fix it. I may just take the refund and try to get something else. It's not a bad product but reader, please be careful. Or you'll be out 721.99+tax on something that you're gonna have to fix or get refunded. Hope my experience helped. Have a nice day. ... show more

Such a shame! When I received this dishwasher, I loved it! It washed the dishes perfectly. BUT it didn't come with the correct hose hook. I contacted Black & Decker 7 times in 3 months in hopes there was finally a tracking number, but was let down every time! Within the 1st month I contacted Amazon and they were great about it. They put notes in my account concerning the missing part and told me if it doesn't come, then I can return it. We'll I ended up returning a perfectly good dishwasher because the company wouldn't send a $5 part. On my last call to black & decker, I expressed my disappointment over this and the lady tried telling me I CANT return it because they won't let me. I told them it's already set up and it's not up to them. If you read reviews here and on other sites about this model, others had the exact issue so Instead I purchased the SPT dishwasher. It's the same setup but it came with the correct hook. Oh and the new dishwasher has a drying cycle unlike black & decker. ... show more

Amazon has been amazing. They sent me a defective model and I contacted them by chat. They did not give me any flack but sent out a new one immediately. And they arranged to have the bad one picked up from my house at no charge. They even gave me a 100.00 rebate because the price dropped since I bought it. It is very small but holds all the dishes very compactly. I can hardly hear it run. My only gripe is that it takes 3 hours to run when I have it set on normal with heated dry and high heat. I haven't tried the other modes yet. ... show more
