The material used and construction is beyond my expectation at this price point. It has some really good weight to it and feels very stable, on par with gym quality equipment, which is noticeably better than my old one at home. As another reviewer mentioned, this is a quality bench at this price point. I was expecting something far flimsier. The bench is heavy with clean welds all around and good-sized hardware used in the construction. The bench (so far) feels very solid in use. For example, incline bar rows are stable, no 'wobbling' while getting into position or while performing reps. The adjustability is easy enough with the support and adjustment bar enclosed in a track; you just reach under the bench, lift the bar and set it into the position you want. While there aren't a ton of positions, there seem to be plenty for all of the exercises I use. Speaking of positions. This bench has a nice decline position (something my other bench doesn't quite hit) and an actual 'upright' position I've been wanting for years now. I've attached a picture that shows my Lever Gym bench in the full upright position compared to the Fanatics bench in the full upright. Room for improvement Tilt wheels on one end would be helpful (little wheels so you can lift one end of the bench and move it around more easily), and a bench lock wouldn't go awry. Could be I am just used to my other bench where I can grab the bench top, lift, and roll to a new spot. The media could not be loaded. This bench comes fully assembled, all you need to do is take it out of the box. Easy to move from the folded flat storage position to usable. When positioned, it seems sturdy enough. It has plenty of optionality to suit any positioning that my husband and I are looking for. I only noticed this when the bench was more upright, but there is some side-to-side wobble on the back rest. I included a video for reference. When sitting on the bench and leaning back, I didn't observe a wobble that made me uncomfortable. The product description has a reference to wheels - I am not sure what this is referring to though. I wish the bench came with wheels so that it was easier to move when folded flat. As you would expect from a bench able to hold 2,000 pounds, it's quite heavy. Wheels would go a long way toward making it easier to actually fold it flat and store it when not in use. My other complaint is that while it's quite easy to set it up for use from the flat position, it's not as easy to fold it flat again. I suspect that the bench is not meant to pack up and store between uses, which is really what I had in mind. We utilize a spare bedroom / home office as our workout space, so we like to be able to put our equipment away when not in use. I think this is a very good bench for this price point. If you're planning to leave it set up most of the time, it would be a good choice. If you're looking for something that is easy to fold up and move away into a closet or under a bed, I would keep looking. ... show more

This bench is sturdy and solid. It also weighs quite a bit. It folds into multiple positions that lock into place. You can raise the seat to various angles up to 90 degrees. It also folds completely down to the floor (low enough to slide under a bed).

I am used to benches having rollerblade wheels on them so you can move them around. This one does not have that. So if you want to have it so you can move it around a lot, this may not be the most perfect bench for that. It's definitely A very solid heavy duty, capable bench. But it's also heavy. It's a nice accessory for a home gym and possibly lightweight in a wreck room or slightly more used than a home gym, or for a regular full-time gym if it's going to be not moved around very much. it's easy to pinch your fingers and smash them if you're not paying attention when you're adjusting the height and angle ... show more

This bench came already assembled! Amazing delivery experience too. It is easy to set up. But the bench top is so hard it actually hurts my back to lay on it. Great for being able to easily sanitize it. But for my at home gym I prefer some cushion. This adjusts to straight up and all the way flat. Really long as well, so if you’re tall this would be great. It can fold to be completely flat for easy storage as well, if space is a concern. I’m just hoping it can be broken in so I can actually use it for bench press ... show more
