Most people nowadays use their cell phone to wake them up, but I can't depend on that. Many times, settings seem to change and there's either no volume, or I don't have it set for the right day. This clock is a wonderful backup. I set them both. This clock has a large face that is easy to read, the buttons are large and handy for the snooze and off/on alarm. It also lights up for a short time so you can see the time in the dark. It isn't a loud alarm, but definitely enough to wake me up. Best of all, it's battery operated so if the power goes out, I still get woke up. I love this clock in every way. Perfect size, easy to see, alarm sound is not obnoxious and battery operated. Love not having to fool with it when we lose power, the way that I have to do with the digital clocks. Love it and plan on ordering another one. Order it, you won't be disappointed.

I rarely write reviews. However, this clock was well worth writing about. This is exactly what I was looking for. I wake up a lot thru the night and like to know the time. This clock is easy to read. However, the main thing I was looking for in a clock was to have enough light to read it. This one certainly fits the bill!! The entire face lights up and turns off within seconds. At first I was very disappointed because the clock had stopped working and the time period had passed to send it back. After the review I received a very nice message from the seller wanting to make it right and they sent me another clock that I received today and it works great.
