It just doesn't work well,it is too big by 3/8 of an inch all around, making buttons nearly inaccessible. The size also negates the on off feature of the case. I took a chance on this after a few reviews said it didn't fit. I don't know what kind of tablet those people were trying to stuff in there, but it fits my new Kindle perfectly, and the buttons and camera hole are in the right places. It's very thin compared to the ones I got from Fintie. The device snaps into a plastic shell, leaving the entire surface of the Kindle unobstructed by any sort of border. The cover folds in 3 places, but it doesn't really form any kind of stand to lift it more than an inch or so. I don't care about that, though. I have a foam lap stand made by Lamicoll (highly recommended) anyway, so I don't need the cover to do that. It's pretty new to me, so I won't rate it's durability or sturdiness yet. The quality control at Fintie went right out the window, and the spine on the last cover I bought from them is completely blown out after only a year. We'll see how this one holds up, but it seems to be of fairly good construction. As long as you have the right Kindle, you'll be happy with this. ... show more

This tablet cover far exceeded my expectations! It’s very sturdy and durable and protects my Fire perfectly! Not to mention it has a nice colorful earthy design. I’ve gotten many compliments on it. I highly recommend this cover.

I purchased this tablet cover for my newly released Kindle Fire - it is as pictured, the colors are in deep, rich jewel tones. The cover is magnetized so it will stay closed and so far works as intended. This case is attractive, looks like it is relatively durable and does protect my 10" kindle. So it does it's job. That said, I would probably not buy it again. The drawbacks for me are the it does not have a loop to hold a stylus and that it tends to be a bit touchy when the cover is folded to use as stand. It collapses easily if moved. This is a very pretty cover it does protect tablet and looks really nice but you can't use it as a stand its not sturdy enough to hold up tablet but I really like the design and the holes are cute just right for buttons also soft on inside I recommend it as a cover but not a stand

this cover fits like a glove. it is not as sturdy as the one I have for my older HD tablet, but I did not spend near 50.00 for this one, either. I plan to just have it so I can read and watch videos, it will be closed when not in use. I opted to not put on a screen since this has a soft cover and I don;t have kids here. the wake / sleep/ seems to work just fine ...there is no hand hold strap so I am working of something I can maybe tie on one side . ... show more

I bought this design about 4 years ago, it was perfect for use and would stand up on a table or lap easily. Then I got a new Kindle which did not fit in the old cover, so I bought the same design. This particular model is very flimsy and does not stand alone at an upright angle. It’s attractive, but the way it’s made is not useful for me to view videos or read because it just lays flat or at a 20 degree angle. Unless you like to sit with perfect posture to read — I prefer to slouch or lay on the couch!
