I purchased this for my dog to use as a potty. She ended up going everywhere in the yard except for the fake grass. Other people make have better luck with this than we did. However, we did end up using it as a play area for our kids which has been a huge hit. So I did give this 4 stars. I have no plans on returning it, it was a good purchase. The is surely far-and-away the best artificial grass product on the market. 3’x5’ is a perfect size for our deck, and for its purpose, to give our aging beagle a place to relieve himself without having to traverse the stairs to the yard, especially in bad weather. I bought this about a month ago, I was so excited to receive it due to I had just gotten a puppy and needed something so he can use the restroom on our patio . I was happy with it until I was noticing it was starting to smell really bad , I had to wash it frequently. I feel like I had it up drying from cleaning it then actually having it done so my dog can use it. Also I noticed my dog would always smell due to he would roll around the grass and all his pee would get on his coat I really was not happy with that. I would never buy this again!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The packaging was a bit difficult to get into and it arrived late. The smell was also horrific (as is typical with compressed rolled products) for the first few hours after opening it. The dogs took to it very quickly, the pee smell washes/airs out easily, and poop is very easy to clean up off of this surface. The color does not look highly natural (the green is a little too bright - its pile is lower than many of the other brands - which, for dogs you want a lower pile).
