I needed a new brush for my blowouts I have and ionic hair dryer and I wanted an ionic brush to go with it. This one was bored bristle which is always good when trying to get a nice smooth blowout. This brush is excellent. The handle is easy to grip and the rubber coating is nice and comfortable and your palm. I love the fact that it comes with a built-in sectioning tool in the handle. They also give you a whole bunch of clips for sectioning. Your hair and the clips are really good quality. I never write reviews, but I felt like this brush deserved one. For the record, I am a hair novice. I have tried using a round brush a couple of times before, but I've never been able to manage it. I recently had my hair cut and needed to learn how in order to style it. I have fine, shoulder length hair that's now cut into an angled bob. I was very nervous about buying a brush that would work well for my hair, so I did a lot of research and decided on this one. This brush is amazingly easy to use! I got a perfect style the first time I used it. The bristles have enough grip to allow you to properly work with your section of hair, but move smoothly through your hair without tugging or tangling your locks. This is the first round brush I've tried that's actually delivered both of those things. I never thought I would be able to mimic the way my hair stylist does my hair, but this brush allows me to do it! In addition, the attached sectioning pick is a handy feature, and I love the clips! When I first ordered the brush, I didn't even think about the clips, but they're great. They're very secure without catching or, more importantly, without leaving creases in your hair! Overall, if you use a round brush, I have to recommend this one. It will allow you to style your hair like a pro and includes tools that make the job even easier. I bought the Fagaci 53 and 32 and have used them 4 times. I have never used a better brush. I have bought expensive boar hair brushes (meh), another expensive one at Ulta, and then settled on cheap Conair brushes in an attempt to create a smooth look and style my long, thick hair. Fagaci has them all beat. The weight of the Fagaci brushes is perfect, and the feel in my hand is balanced, yet sturdy and comfortable. The brush head is the perfect size and is easy to maneuver. Most surprisingly, my hair does not get caught or tangled in the bristles. The combination bristles hold my hair in the brush as I pull gently and rotate the brush; but the hair does not get caught or tangled. The smoothing action and ability to twist to curl at the end (along with everything else!) makes this the best brush I have ever used. I use the smaller diameter on my bangs for body and light curl. Watching the video was so helpful; that is what propelled me to try the Fagaci brushes. The price point is excellent. I would buy them again and will definitely recommend them. ... show more

Updates: The seller reached out to me. I told them the product I received was not in new condition. They immediately offer to send me a second brush free of charge. Great customer service, thank you. Also after a couple days or usage, for people have coarse frizzy hair like me, I would recommend a hair spray or similar product to fight the frizz on humid days even after blow dry. The original review: The brush works great. I have coarse thick and frizzy hair. I separate my hair into sections and I am able to smooth out my hair with this brush. The handle has a nice grip to it which works very well. However I do think my brush is a returned product. It has scratches on the handle and the box is ripped opened. A condition like this you will find it in the clearance section and probably pay less. Too much hassle to return and I did give the brush a try, it does work well. So I am keeping it. ... show more

I love this brush - I purchased my first almost 3 years ago and it broke during my first use. I decided to try again as it worked really well on my thick, curly hair. The second order lasted a full year and I ordered another, and it too, lasted almost a year. UNFORTUNATELY, THE LAST 4 THAT I HAVE ORDERED HAVE BROKEN WITHIN A WEEK OF PURCHASE. I've never been one who could get the hang of using a round brush. As I've been letting my fine hair grow out, and wearing it naturally wavy, it just never looked great. I do not use styling products and have huge concerns with using anything that will damage my delicate hair. After a lot of research, this brush fit the bill. It's easy to use, even a beginner can have success. The handle grip is teriffic. Doesn't tangle my hair or pull. The splitting needle is incredible, didn't even think I'd use it now can't imagine not having it. My hair looks shinny, healthy, and thick. Bare with me, I like a review for something like this to relate to me. I have fine but not thin hair that is just below my shoulders. This is the best round brush I have owned. It is easy to hold and the grip is nice, AND it doesn’t get tangled in my hair (huge plus). I purchased the 2 inch and it gives me nice smooth volume. If you want a little more than just volume get a smaller size. I will be purchasing a smaller circumference brush in this brand soon. Yes, the bristles are a little stiff and hard, but I don’t have a sensitive scalp and I am using this for a blowout not to brush my hair. Great brush!! Highly recommend!!
