They are definitely sturdy but I did not take into consideration the thickness of the bars on my trampoline so they aren't as deep into the ground as I would have liked. I bought these after a very windy day blew our trampoline into the neighbors yard and although it has still been very windy its been nothing like that day. The flat head was great for driving these stakes straight into the ground. I was also looking for stakes that were ribbed and not just smooth. These have been outside in strong winds and multiple kids jumping on the trampoline and haven't budged a bit.
