I attached this to my 16ft Intex pool. I failed to notice before ordering that it might be Exit brand pool specific. So, I upgraded the ubolts to fit around my frame. The drawings on the instructions took some studying- no words, but it’s a simple setup. Attaching the cover to the mounts took two people and some maneuvering, but connects easy. When open, it compacts well around the outer perimeter and is held with buckles provided. Two people are needed to close it. It’s not an exact fit so it ended up covering my ladder too, which is convenient. ... show more

We purchased the Exit Toys 16' Pool Dome to help keep our pool cleaner and also extend the pool season. It was fairly easy to install for two people. The product is very good quality and should last for many years. I would recommend it.

So far I've had it up for 4 days. A pole already broke while raising it today. Another slipped out of the metal sleeve and yet another doesn't clip in as it doesn't line up. I've also patched a few small holes. The price is a bit much for the quality. The description says it fits many brands, Intex isn't one of them unless you fab something up. I used punch flat bar and clamps to get it to work. As far as keeping the pool warm it doesn't seem as effective as a solar blanket but maybe in concert with the two it will help. The max wind it can handle is 19mph and it must be disassembled in cold weather. I'll update if the company replaces the broken poles and give an update after a few weeks. ... show more

The clamps for the bracket that held the dome didn't fit the frame of my 15 ' pool. My husband bought bigger clamps because we didn't want the hassle of sending it back or dealing with the seller. He also had to widen the hole for the clamps so they would be able to secure the bracket to the pool. Cost about $100 extra in parts to get it to work. We got it up and so far it working OK. Was not easy assembly. Instructions very unclear. Pretty much had to just figure things out for ourselves. ... show more
