To seek a super soft, beautiful, human size, and lightweight blanket that could properly cover my poor, blue toes. After browsing the Amazon jungle for hours, alas, there it was. The blanket was soft. The blanket was blue. The blanket was large. Finally, relief was found and never again would the ruthless, frosty, and cold hearted air conditioning attack again. Blanket best suited for summer. Not intended for cooler weather. Do not use blanket if you are allergic to blanket. We love this blanket. We have old tattered ones in the living room that we use during some of the colder Florida winter nights. Yes, it can get rather damp and chilly in South FL, but no question that we need a thin blanket. This fits the bill. I have lots of skin allergies so soft and fluffy is important to me. As well, it is pretty and a soft gentle blue that's calming to us. One downside for me is that my cat likes to cuddle up between my legs while I watch TV. This new blanket will be full of his fur. Every evening before I go to bed I use the lint roller. It will surely wear down the material soon enough. That's the price of having a cat and keeping things clean. In any case, this blanket is not very expensive, so I'll order another one when it's time. I didn't take off any points for that. Also, this blanket washes and dries very easily. It doesn't shrink. I love the color, such a deep velvet look, such soft, and I mean SOFT fabric. Same velvety feeling on both sides, lays out smooth (I cover two individual cushions on a wicker low rise couch, each panel is about 27" sq. BUT you can barely tell their separate pieces B/C it lays flat.) Even getting up and sitting down a few times, it stays in place. I wish I ordered a 2nd to cover myself with. Best size for a throw blanket for ADULTS. I'm 5'5" and it will definitely let me snuggle the top and cover my toes. However, I seriously recommend delicate machine or hand wash and hang dry to ensure it stays super soft and doesn't bead up. ... show more

This plush throw is very soft, a nice color, and not too thin, but it sheds badly. I washed and dried it 3 times and it still had little balls of fiber all over it. A lint roller won't pick it up. Wound up using a fine-toothed comb. Way too time consuming.
