I have a yellow lab who sheds like crazy several times per year. That’s my fur factory Maggie in the photo. I use this blanket as a sofa cover during those times. They are reasonably priced so I have several for sofa and loveseat; when one is in the laundry I can use another. I’m sure some of you are thinking “Lady are you nuts, using a dark brown sofa cover when the dog is shedding white fur?!” But the fur doesn’t stick to the blanket! Anyone who has a shedding dog knows the lengths (and cost) we go thru to keep our home, clothing and car looking somewhat presentable during shedding season. Some fabrics are fur-magnets and some are not. This is not. Also doesn’t pick up lint. The texture is slightly furry, and feels very soft & cozy, but the fur is not long enough to get lumpy-looking. I’ve washed them dozens of times and they still look new. I don’t baby them. Regular warm wash and I toss them in the dryer with a dryer sheet. They dry fast, no wrinkles, it’s a great fabric. They don’t get staticky. One side has a bit more sheen while the other side is more matte. I personally prefer the matte side, but they look great either way. I also bought some smaller ones to use as throw blankets. Since they perfectly match, I think the sofa looks a little neater that way. Hope this review is helpful! ... show more

large enough for two people to share while chilling on the couch or even laying in bed. super soft and plush as well which is the main reason i bought this blanket! the color is exactly the same as the pictures. it is not one of those cheap blankets that are just soft, the blanket also is relatively thick so its keeps warm as well. definitely machine washable, i washed it instantly with my scent beads and it remained impeccable. 10/10 i recommend ... show more

If you are looking for a lightweight throw this is the one. The color is exactly as I expected . Good price, soft, lightweight. Came in a shrink wrapped package so don’t be alarmed. Bought this to use as a throw for my husband's recliner. It is extra-long, so it actually covers his feet! Nice and soft and comfy, and the color is very pretty. Easy to launder, and it comes out of the dryer still fluffy and soft.

It is very soft, but I noticed immediately after the first wash that some of the threading was coming out. Don't think I will buy this particular kind again, as the threading isn't as durable as the other chevron looking material.
