  • Price inflated but it works great.
I've been trying to get my hands on a card for a while now. I had ordered one from Newegg while they were in stock but they sent me a dead card. They couldn't replace it because it was out of stock. So I found this card and it's a little more expensive than I wanted to pay for a card, seeing g as the price is inflated from it's normal value. If I hadn't of been disappointed by getting that dead card I would have tried to wait for the prices to come down a little more. That being said. This card is great. It's a huge upgrade from my GTX950. I can actually see the details in RDR2 I'm playing in 1440p on ultra settings and getting 60fps. I can't hear the gpu fans over my 9 case fans. So I guess it's pretty quiet. If you can find this card closer to it's MSRP price go ahead and pick it up. EVGA has never let me down. And their customer service is outstanding. ... show more

  • Solid upgrade at a good price (at the time)
I spend very little on my PC. In 2015, I built my I5 5820K, 32gb, GTX 770 OC and it has chugged through every task I ask of it at the lowest of graphic settings. I wasn't aware of how used to 15-25fps I was until I upgraded with this GPU. I checked the prices a couple of years ago and laughed as I walked away. "I built my computer for nearly that much." I thought. A couple of weeks ago, when I bought this unit, the price was well under MSRP. Now it seems that the price is up by at least 25%. This is a very functional GPU and in my case, was a tremendous upgrade from my previous card. However, new buyers should be wary of the fluctuating prices and not pay much, if any over the product's MSRP. As for the performance: This newfound power of double-digit frames per second allowed me to play with the settings on multiple games and see the resulting clarity. I demand a great deal when it comes to multitasking with my GPU. I will certainly have fifty windows of Chrome and two of Excel open while any game is running. Very seldom do I get to JUST game. That being said, I still get 18-25 fps on GTA5 on max settings, but I found a mix of ultra and very high settings that give me 55+fps in 4K windowed mode. If these programs take too long to minimize, I also downgrade graphics and this was a good combo. Tiny Tina's Wonderland gave 25-35fps on max settings, but low texture quality and ultra texture rendering cranked that up to 55+fps. The "low quality" textures still allow you to see splinters in wooden armor as long as they load in quickly. Anyone seeing these numbers would say the same thing: "You're limited by your CPU" This is absolutely true, but I assume many people out there were looking for a good card to maximize their current CPU. If you're building new, then you'll see far better numbers than myself just because you'll likely have a much more powerful CPU. For now, at least I can easily max out my 4K 60hz while not changing anything else about my machine or habits. At the time (and price) of purchase, this was a great upgrade to my older PC. ... show more

The EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC Gaming is an outstanding graphics card that has truly redefined gaming experiences. As an avid gamer, I was eager to put this powerful GPU to the test, and I must say it surpassed all my expectations. First and foremost, the performance of the RTX 3060 XC Gaming is simply exceptional. Equipped with NVIDIA's Ampere architecture, this card delivers a significant boost in frame rates and graphical fidelity compared to its predecessors. Whether I was exploring vast open worlds or engaging in intense multiplayer battles, the smoothness and visual detail were unparalleled. ... show more

  • Great graphics card - dependent on price.
So if you are like me and was waiting for a LONG time for prices to finally start declining on graphics cards, looking to upgrade - I bought this card at $530 in April 2022. I was upgrading from a GeForce GTX 1050 TI and I can honestly say I noticed an immediate improvement (obviously). The 12GB RAM is what I was looking for specifically in order to run more demanding newer titles like Cyberpunk. My old card was barely able to run Cyberpunk even on low settings - with the 3060 no problems at all even on Ultra. The 3060 is a bit more noisy than the older one as far as the fans go, but otherwise no complaints so far. The installation was super simple, nearly plug and play, and as long as you have a previous NVIDIA card and have GeForce Experience up to date, should be just as easy. The ONLY thing I can warn you about is that you need an 8 pin power connector cable available - so if you don't have one from your power supply, plan for getting one. Lastly, if this card falls within your price range and are interested I would say go for it until more advanced cards lower in price as well over time. The card shipped quicker than it was initially estimated and arrived in perfect condition. Overall a great product so far. 10/10 ... show more

  • Absolutely great video card
I previously had a Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5. This video card is so much quieter and performs well. No issues and a simple plug and play. I running with a 650 watt power supply.
