Installed Motion switches a few years back. Worked Great with standard Incandescent Bulbs. Installed New LED Bulbs and when motion timer ended, the Bulbs only dimmed way down. after some research, I found that older motion switches did not use and neither did they require wiring the Neutral wire. So I looked around di some more research and found these EverElectrix Motion Switches. install was super simple. Now after preset timer runs out the New LED lights turn completely off as advertised. Connected 7 two years ago, bathroom, closet, laundry room, 2nd bath. They have 3 different adjusters for range, time on, and sensitivity. They all worked great the first year and half and most still work great now. They pick up motion very well, they go off after the time you set. I bought them for ease of entering a room in a hurry & at night (bathroom). And in case my hands are full (laundry). And because the kids forget to turn the lights off. They are SOOOO easy to change out with your old light switches ( turn off breaker first ! ) they come with a single switch cover, I had to buy covers for the multi switches like bath light fan combo. Of the 7, I’ve only replaced one because it kept coming on for no reason that I could tell. Although I could have had the sensors adjusted wrong. It was just so easy to replace and I had 2 extra because I bought 2 four packs originally. I still have one in a guest bath that comes on when we enter the house from the garage. It is very sensitive but is doable because I usually have my hands full coming thru that door. The timers seem to work well by turning them off and it’s easy to wave your hand or move just a little to get them to come back on, if you’re in that room longer than expected. Plus, for fun, you can set the guest bathroom for the minimum time on and hear the stories of how the room went pitch dark while they were doing their business. ... show more

Just installed these 3 days ago and they are working wonderful. They come on faster than any occupancy light that I have experienced. And if you've ever walked into a room that has had an occupancy light and the light does not come on it takes a minute to try and find the switch. Have not had any issues with these. One is installed in the hallway to my father's bathroom because he gets up in the middle of the night and this turns the light on for him so he can see. The other one is in the utility room which is nice to have when you're walking in and your hands are full of laundry. No fumbling for the light and you can walk straight over to the washing machine. The other nice thing about the switches is if you turn the light off after you leave it still works automatically when you come back to the room. So you don't have to wait for the switch to turn itself off but you can if you want. If I have any issues I will be sure to update my comment. The one issue I can see is the cover for the controls is kind of cheap so you don't want to be taking it on and off all the time. The tabs that hold it on will break and then you will be without a cover unless the company replaces this for free but I doubt it.     • Eventually stop functioning

This switch eventually fails. I have 4 of these and they have all done the same thing. Here are the issues: 1. Light will not turn off with manual press. I have to press the off button repeatedly 20-30 times, not exaggerating before it will shut off. I hear the button click, and internal components click but light stays on. 2. After a few months of use and it working properly, the light decides to turn on even when there is no motion. Light comes on randomly throughout the day and night. I’ve adjusted settings, verified wiring with an electrician and have done all the troubleshooting I can. This is happening on all 4 of the 4 units I own. I turned the power off on one of them and left it off for 24 hours and it’s functioning again however this didn’t correct the issue for the other 3. These fail and are now useless. Waste of money, I wouldn’t buy again. ... show more

So it works but it's weird. I pull my van into the garage and it doesn't go off even at full setting then I open my door and wave my hand and it then turns on. I think it doesn't do well recognizing really big things but if I walk near it works every time. So it works fine, just a little annoying it doesn't recognize my van. ... show more
