Description

Everglass is a short-strand multi-fiber reinforced body repair filler ideal for use on metal for finishing welded seams, rusted metal repairs, and repairing composites for filling holes in SMC and shattered fiberglass. Everglass contains Evercoat ZNX-7 formula that quickly provides superior adhesion to galvanized steel and aluminum much sooner in the repair. This extra high strength and waterproof filler comes with blue cream hardener.     • Easy to use and didn't run
I used this to seal my boats throughulls. My boat has marine plywood sandwiches by fiberglass on both sides. I replaced all my throughulls and was unhappy with the possibility of water getting to the wood. Two of my throughulls had leaked some water into the wood. Luckily it had bees very little and I only had to remove about an inch around the thrughull to get to good dry wood. This product is easy to mix following the directions, it does set pretty quick so only do a little at a time. I mixed enough for one throughull at a time and it worked out well. It is very easy to work with since it does not run. After drying it is easily made perfect with a file and sandpaper. Now if I happen to get some water past my seal, it can't get into my wood.     • good stuff, no hardener with it
used for edges of car door repair, much tougher than regular filler. Buy some hardener when you order Stuff is blue, look for contrasting hardener so you can tell it's mixed well.

    • Arrives damaged and missing hardener
Let me first be clear that the Everglass filler itself it top notch and works beautifully. I've relied on this product many times in the past and will continue to use it in the future. The single star rating is simply due to Amazon's lack of proper handling of this material, as evidenced by the damaged cans they continue to ship even though several others have already complained about them, and the lack of hardener being included with these when they ship (they come in the case these cans were originally packaged in). My guess is that they crushed the lot and are still trying to sell them to poor unsuspecting customers. These are damaged goods. Shame on you Amazon. If you need this particular item, my suggestion would be to buy it locally instead of through Amazon since they don't seem to know how to deliver this quality material in a quality way. UPDATE: I returned the dented can that was missing the hardener back to Amazon and indicated both of these as the reason why I was returning this filler. I took a chance and exchanged the item instead of just refunding it as I would have liked to use this filler. While Amazon was quick to ship me out another can - it too is dented and missing the hardener. So, returning to Amazon and purchasing locally after all. Shame. ... show more
