Just received this little powerhouse vacuum yesterday and I was amazed at how well it worked on my different floors. It had very good suction on my carpeted floor as well my hard service flooring in the kitchen, bathrooms and living area. It was lightweight, easy to use, clean, and to store. It stands up on it's own which makes it better for storage. I needed a vacuum that does not have a beater bar and this one works well without the beater bar. Great suction. Smaller than a standard vacuum but great for those hard to reach places. Removal of the floor sweeper to use the attachment was a little hard to begin with maybe I pushed it in to hard. Works great on hardwood floors better than my existing vacuum. Picked up all the dog hair (short haired dog) and so much more. Worked well on my thick rugs but not so well on the lighter one. Have not tried it yet on the stairway carpet. This was very easy to put together and actually works really well. I was surprised at the power of it for a little vacuum. It also swivels really nicely. I do think it is kind of hard to get the hand held part off of the base. Getting it back on is the same. When you are using the whole thing as an upright vacuum if you let it go to fast and do not take a minute to make sure it is stable it falls over. I know a lot of people say this but I actually really never write reviews; I have a little time today and I thought, truly, why not? I found myself in need of a vacuum after I had to give back the one I've borrowed for 2 years (it's a thing). This arrived three days ago and I have used it three times (I have pets and a kid) and, honestly, it's lived up to the hype. I chose this vacuum first and foremost because it was significantly cheaper than the one I've been borrowing (if I'm spending that kind of money I'm spending it on my kid, my pets, or like, drinks out with friends — not something I use to suck up the remnants of whatever string my cat has recently destroyed or dirt my dog brought in or random bits of paper that seem to litter my teen's room/my soul), but also because a lot of people seemed to be pleasantly surprised by just how well it works and I thought, you know, I could use a pleasant surprise in my life. I'm happy to report that, so far, it has indeed pleasantly surprised me. It's easy to put together and super lightweight; I haven't had to empty it yet so I don't know how easy that is, nor can I speak to how long it will last. Who knows? Maybe in 3 months I'll be back and tell you this entire review was BS because it fell apart and now I'm spending my kid/pets/drinks with friends money on the vacuum I probably should have bought in the first place (here's hoping that doesn't happen).     • Affordable, pretty good car vacuum with a long handle & floor attachment

We moved into a house with hard floors, which I never had before, and I quickly realized how difficult it is to keep them even halfway clean. I swept all the time, I dry swiffered, I wetjetted, so much work! We have 3 cats so dust, hair & litter goes everywhere all the time! I wasn't happy with how much fur & dust was being left behind no matter how carefully I swept, and I hated having to clean the floors twice just to pick everything up. I had used vacuums on hard floors before and it just threw all the litter & dirt around because the rolls turn so fast so I was looking for a #1 inexpensive vacuum that #2 would be good for hard floors & litter that wasn't so high powered that it would make a bigger mess for me to clean up. This vacuum is not what I expected but its ok. Technically it sucks up the litter, fur & dust. I would HIGHLY recommend ordering lots of aftermarket filters, so you don't have to wear out the filter that comes with it by cleaning it all the time because all the dust & fur/hair get stuck to it immediately. The filter that comes with it is pretty thin and is actually worse than the aftermarket ones I purchased from amazon. This vacuum is literally a car-vac dust buster with a long handle and floor attachment. I hate that it's not easy dump & go and I have to actually touch the filter & get all the fur/hair/dust off. It's also very temperamental - it doesn't pick up anything at all unless the whole floor attachment is on a flat surface - I mean this literally - not one millimeter. I have to carefully run it to the side of the very thin litter mats, making sure not to let it go up on the trim and then make sure the whole head is on the mat & go over the mats over & over to pick up any litter. Not great. Unlike some other reviews, it does stand up on its own if you have everything straight & together. Works slightly better on carpet/rugs but doesn't try to suck up a corner or unwanted items so that's good. I have more complaints than positive things to say about it BUT it technically fits my needs, better than the broom & it was cheap so I'm taking the win. ... show more
