Got this robot a couple weeks ago. It works great. Better than my teenager whose chore it was previously to vacuum. He broke the vacuum we had, so we got a robot, and now he just maintains the robot. He loves it. I like that it stays cleaner in the house, and I argue with him less. WIN-WIN. It cleans about 800 sq ft on a charge on medium suction on hard floors. The dustbin is being enough for 1100 sq ft of cleaning with room to spare. The mapping is great and will come into play below. Today the unspeakable and unfortunate event of the robot finding a fresh dog poop happened. “Rosie” as we’ve named her, ate and finger painted the floor for about three minutes before one of my kids caught her. An hour of rage disassembly and cleaning later, and Rosie is clean as new. I appreciated that Eufy doesn’t use any security screws or warranty voiding seals on the robot. I was able to get most of the affected parts free and clean without using tools, and only had a few screws to pull to remove the shell and properly clean the drive wheels and wheel wells. I can’t afford a higher end robot with mess avoidance tech built in, so I love that this one is easy to clean if and when needed. ... show more

Not sure what the other reviewers were doing wrong, but this little vacuum is a game changer. Inital setup was slower for me, but that's because I was selecting the wrong vacuum. During initial setup, you do an autozone mapping where it quickly scans your home. After that you can do your edits in the app, rename the rooms, create no go zones, schedule cleanings, redraw boundaries. The app is pretty user friendly. It effectively vacuumed my entire area, even leaving the vacuum lines. Suction is great, it's fairly quiet and works with Alexa. If you have low to mid pile carpet, try this. Was able to go over my plush bath mats too, but I will pull them up before hand because he struggled a bit. Takes a little over an hour to do roughly 1000 square feet. Does snag cords and long curtains so pull them up. But that's just common sense even when using a regular vacuum. Would say this is a great entry level vacuum. Not necessarily for homes with multiple animals and children. ... show more

I bought this to replace the 30C model. This thing is amazing. After mapping the floors, all you do is start it and it methodically cleans. Setting up boundaries was easy so no dealing with wires or curtains being picked up. Seems to do a much better job than the earlier models and the price can't be beat. ... show more

Great vacuum. Very convenient to use. I turn it on in the morning before I go to work and it does the job and returns to its home when finished. Cleans my carpet well! I have a dog that does somewhat shed and after running the vacuum, no pet hair is to found. Highly recommend!!

I already have a Shark AV2501S that I've used for a couple years and I've been very happy with it. This is currently at less than half the cost, but it doesn't have a self empty base. Otherwise, it promises the same functionality. The mapping shows on the app in real time, which is oddly satisfying to watch, and also gives a better idea of exactly how it's working. My Shark doesn't have the real time display, and overall the app for this eufy vacuum is slightly more intuitive, and actually senses where the rooms are automatically. The Shark app you have to designate everything. This vacuum seems to have a bit more suction than my Shark, at the cost of being considerably louder. This isn't loud, by vacuum standards, but the Shark is whisper quiet. The level of suction may lower over time; the Shark is a couple years old, but I do keep the filters clean. The Shark has an unfair advantage as for cleaning, however, by having the self empty base. This vacuum didn't tell me once that it was full, and with a kid and pets the Shark would empty at least once per cycle. This I had to run it, empty it, then run it again to get everything. Kind of an unfair comparison, but it would have been nice to have some kind of notification that it was full. Instead it just ran it's route not picking up anything after the first half. It does run faster, without sacrificing cleaning power. Nice, but for something automated it's not really a huge deal. The biggest issue I had is with the charging base and the mapping. Maybe it was where I have the base, but at the start of the route, the vacuum would nudge the base to the side. I have it on carpet, so I can't exactly use the tape to keep it in place. I would put the base back in it's original location, then at the end of the route the vacuum would back up to the base, get close, stop, spin, drive away, and attempt to back up into it again... and again. I would have to physically slide the base up to the back of the vacuum for it to dock. All together, it works great. There's a couple bugs I may need to work out, but at less than half the cost of my Shark, this is a good buy. ... show more

The vacuum does a very good job for the area it covers. The battery only last approximately 50 minutes so it doesn't clean a very big area before needing to recharge. The review had stated 120 minutes. I run it in the morning in kitchen and living room. Recharge (takes about 5 hours) and then run it in bedrooms. (2) My house is very small. If you have a larger home I would check out something with a longer battery life or purchase 2 units. ... show more

I like that this Eufy vacuums in straight lines and not willy-nilly. It is a surprise when it states it's going home to charge. Didn't expect that. Vacuums really well. Not sure where it's finding all that dirt.
