Very happy with these rope lights. They have a solar panel and so far are working perfectly. The plastic casing around the strand of lights is an added plus as it reflects more light and helps weather proof the lighting itself. They are also much brighter than some of the other solar fairy lights I have ordered, and the mode button allows for various blinking/and fade options which increases duration of time they can stay on and reduces drain on battery. Ordered six of these. Three sets work great, the other three won't hold the settings, don't charge up, etc. They are all set up right next to each other so get the same amount of sun. I have part of a tree that isn't lit; two tress around that are lit and two that are not. The ones that work look great and are bright enough for the area but ... not happy about the other ones. ... show more

I bought 2 of those lights and one works fine, the other worked for 2 weeks. I checked and pressed the power button several time. It just doesn't work anymore - after 2 WEEKS? It's in the same location. Yes, it gets sun, as much as the other one.

The media could not be loaded. Lights look great, easy to hang. Love all the variety of settings. Only down side remote does not work, even tried new batteries. Will just have to use the main box to change modes.
