Oh she is a beauty. All steel, and made here in Rockford Illinois. For demo you cannot go wrong with an all steel hammer. I have wood, fiberglass and all steel. I buy only Vaughan and Estwing. This model has a nice side nail puller and is nicely balanced. I prefer the blue nylon grip to the leather (though I have a 20oz leather as the leather handle is REALLY nice), as it provides more shock relief, and lasts longer. I have been in the construction line of work for many years and have used Estwing hammers since I was at first a laborer. I still have the same Estwing that I first bought and other than staining from exposure to hands and sweat it still looks and works wonderfully! I love this newer design and I am sure this will be just as good as the one I am retiring to my collection! You cant go wrong and if you see people breaking hammers then they are not hammering or pulling nails with them, they are not meant to be ran over and misused. I never believe images that show that kind of things. Trust someone who used them daily for years. I put them through heck and back. The handle also would not let me get blisters and had a great texture unlike others you buy. ... show more
