  • Limitless power at your fingertips!
Style: Milled Face
You can keep your $100+ stilettos and your dalluges!!no amount of rage you can muster will crack the head off this little thump dumper, you can pry out out a miss-cut header that’s been nailed more times than a sorority sister at a Florida Georgia line concert and I promise you the handle will not crack bend or break!Feels great in your hand boom that’s what she said and while the face is a bit smaller, trust that you won’t notice after a week. Buy this hammer even if you don’t need a hammer. ... show more

  • great hammer, no image on hammer 15oz
Style: Milled Face
not that it makes a difference in the quality of the hammer, which is exceptional, don't show an image on hammer without stating which size hammer it is actually on. great hammer overall!

  • Another Estwing home run hammer.
Style: Milled Face
I bought the all black 15 oz. estwing model, making sure it was as long as the 22 ounce standard estwing. Let me tell you, this is a great hammer. It is lighter and hits just as hard as a 22 ounce standard estwing, but has the new all black cool design.I am a union carpenter and have used this hammer for concrete forms, scaffold, interior systems, etc... It is a versatile hammer which does it all. I tested this hammer and a few other hammers that I own at hammering 16d double headed nails. This hammer came in tied with my 22 ounce standard estwing hammer. The aluminum estwing drives nails the best, but the aluminum is brittle and chips away from metal to metal contact. This all steel hammer is tough as nails, I have even bent it sideways to pry and have not damaged it at all. The only thing that is different from the standard is the head is flatter at the top and not as round which makes removing nails from wood maybe slightly harder, but it still does the job well. Other than that, it works great. Feels good in the tool belt at a lighter weight. Local 291 Albany NY ... show more

  • Could be a decent hammer if you get a good one.
Style: Milled Face
I’m a framer by trade so I use hammers all day on most days. This seems like it could be a decent hammer, as I like the weight and feel of it. That said, the striking face of the hammer is lopsided. Quality control seemed to overlook the most important surface of this tool…..

  • Really good hammer
Style: Smooth Face (Short Handle)
Good hammer, small head, but overall satisfied. The shorter handle is super nice too.

  • Perfect tool for a tough job here in Phoenix laying underlayment - a steep roof makes for difficult arm swing with accuracy
Style: Milled Face
One very fine tool. I needed a hammer for cap nails on a 5 in 12 pitch roof laying underlayment the plastic and metal caps work and meet mfr. requirements - I was using a HD smooth head and 9 times out of 10 the nail was either bent or went flying - had to hit it perfect to drive the ring shank nails. I have used milled head hammers before but over years of use they wear down - I was fed up with the problem and ordered the best name and the milled face hammer- I like a lighter weight the 15 oz and milled face made all the difference. I was able to drive those cap nails in with ease. That milled face may wear but the time and labor more then makes up for this. I found that hitting the cap a little off center made no difference job done THANKS ... show more

  • We need to talk, Estwing. [2yr review]
Style: Smooth Face (Short Handle)
I deleted my prior review because after some real world use over a couple years, my opinion has soured considerably. There's no joy in saying this, because I've got over a dozen Estwing tools; mostly hammers, but THIS damn hammer stands out as egregiously 'un-Estwing-ey' [if you will]. The paint SUCKS. It shed paint like it was sunburn from the day I got it. Not even *used* it. It flaked paint just by existing in our world. Ugh. It wasn't as represented, but that's Amazon's bad, Im quite sure. I'm ludicrously, ridiculously meticulous about rust treatments for all my metal stuff. Tried & true, no-BS rust prevention products [Slip 2000, Eezox, Ballistol] couldn't keep this damnable hammer from trying to self destruct via glorious Fe203. I don't give a damn about cosmetics on my tools...I cant believe some people do, but whatever...but I cannot, I will not, abide atrocious 'paint' that can't make it through the process of my picking it up from its package, then proceeding to rust all over like some kind of sub-par Chinesium. I buy American-made tools because they tend to last and treat me well. Some of my daily use tools are USA-made from my granddad's era when he bought them circa 1940-something. Estwing...WTH? ... show more
