I love this product. I have never bought a nail polish that had any staying power. This is the only company I will buy from from now on. Any other polish I have used started to chip after a day or two. The picture shows at least one week of wear. If you start with a clear base coat, two layers of the polish followed by a top coat, this product will last and last !! I’m forever hooked !!! ... show more

I disposed of all other brands a few years ago. Most of the time the polish doesn’t last as long as they claim especially if you wash dishes and clean. However, it does last longer than all other brands I used. It also never chips so badly that I have to hide my nails. Often only obvious to me. The trick is to put all coats on very thinly and only two coats of color, never three. It’s super easy to take off with just regular nail polish remover. I never have to scrub or file the color off. The polish makes my nails stronger and they grow longer. The clear bottle lasted a couple of years and that’s with using it weekly. The color will last me longer because I have so many colors To switch off with. I have used Essie almost my whole life. I was worried when she sold the company but they have only improved it. There are some colors, like cantaloupe that I wish they’d resurrect. This color wool me over is really nice it’s a tan shade, a tightly darker than my skin tone. It’s what I was looking for. Also seems to be cheaper on Amazon than the box stores. ... show more

Chip resistant, Beautiful shine and a must buy for natural nails. I usually chip the first hour I polish my nails. I know right? Well this Essie gel polish is amazing. It also dries fairly quickly.

I don't know if you've ever tried to find essie's "Ballet Slippers" in a store, but it's almost impossible to find. The slot that says "Ballet Slippers" is virtually guaranteed to be empty, and it's easy to know why because it is such a beautiful, all-purpose shade. When I returned home from a recent vacation and found that it was missing from my toiletry kit, I wasted no time in ordering a new bottle. If you are looking for an understated pale pink shade, I don't think you'll find a prettier one than this ... show more

This is fine, but less pink than the ballet slippers color I'm used to. This one is more white and, curiously, doesn't have the same number as the usual ballet slippers (unless they changed it recently). Still, fresh polish, so does the job.
