My 74-year-old wife suffered a fall recently and badly bruised her left hip, making sitting in most of our chairs very uncomfortable. We had planned to buy a couple of recliners as our budget allowed, but this accident added urgency to get one for her, as she has only been able to get comfortable lying down in bed. After checking several local stores I discovered high prices and 3-4 week delivery windows, so I turned to Amazon. After a lot of surfing and reading other reviews I decided on the Esright chair shown in the photos below—in its four major positions: seated, seated w. legs up, reclined, and lifted. (We hope not to need the lift function for many years, but you never know…) We’ve only had the chair for a few days, so cannot attest to its long-term durability, but so far it has more than met our expectations. We are very happy with its appearance, comfort and operation, and it was delivered quickly (and free) at an affordable price. Setup was simple, everything worked fine upon hookup, and operation is very smooth and quiet. It takes about 10 seconds from seated to fully reclined, and about 20 seconds from seated to fully lifted (so 30 seconds from reclined to lifted). Full recline requires about 14 inches of clearance behind the back of the chair. My wife was particularly happy to find the seat supportive but not too firm; it was comfortable under her sore hip in both upright and reclined modes. The brown faux leather looks durable and is attractive and pleasant to the touch, though like real leather I expect it can be sweaty on bare skin in hot/humid weather. (An otherwise identical model is available in microfiber cloth, in a couple of colors.) Bottom line, we love the chair. ... show more

    • Do not purchase for the heat and massage feature. Remote does not last.

Company does not stand by their warranty. The remote went out within 3 months of purchase, they said they were sending a replacement, sent me a fake tracking number that was somewhere in California (I’m in TN), and won’t respond to my emails. Now we cannot use the heat and massage feature on this new chair, which was the main reason for purchasing the chair. I will never purchase from them again. We needed two more similar chairs but I will purchase them elsewhere. ... show more

My husband and I were in the market for a new recliner chair for some time and did plenty of research. We decided to buy the Esright because it was an unbeatable combination of features and affordability. We are glad we bought it and highly recommend it. Assembly was quick and easy. The materials are sturdy, yet soft. We were not expecting the chair to be so comfortable at this price, but it really is an ultra comfy chair that you can recline and fall asleep in. The padding is excellent. The power recline and power forward tilt work well and the motor is not too loud. It is difficult to find a chair with power recline, USB charging, and massage features for under Amazon’s price. We had a small issue with one of the parts and the seller was very responsive in shipping us a replacement, which worked perfectly. ... show more

My husband had bypass surgery,and this is just what the dr ordered 😁,he's not a small man 320lbs 6ft it fits him well and is comfortable, it lifts him up easy. The massage part is ok but only has setting selection 15, 30 ,or 1hr along with the heat, Don't use that feature much anyway;so we look at it as a bonus. PROS: We purchased 2 of these recliners for our home and both my husband and I love them! We were looking for recliners that have a higher seat because we are both tall. The seat is 19" high - perfect. The material is soft and the padding is wonderful. There is a button on the side of the chair to move it up or down - - so much better than having to find the remote. There is a remote, but only for massage and heat. I would love these exceptional chairs without the bonus features. The cup holders come in handy for holding the tv remote, a few life savers candy, and occasionally a glass of iced tea. If you are looking for a very comfortable, easy to use lift chair - buy one of these. CONS: There is only one con - the chairs only come in dark chocolate brown; however, dark brown works with our color scheme in the living room so it's not a problem for us. ... show more

This is a great chair. Super comfortable and the features are great. Beats my old chair by a mile. Nice to have the vibrating feature and phone charger there as well. Bought two of them. One for me and one for my wife. We both couldn't happier. Great chair for the money. You won't be disappointed. Plus, on a side note, customer service is top notch.
