We got these as a replacement for my other wingback recliners. They are pretty. We also found them to be well made. They are stiff which it seems to be easing up the longer used. For me I have to cover the seat because we have a dog ..The head rest was needed for me to help my neck but husband was fine. Also it glides well when reclining. I would very much recommend using a screwdriver bit that works with the hardware. The small one that came with striped the screws. We had one and things went much smoother. ... show more

Chair looks great! Assembly instructions could have been a little bit more informative in regards to adding the back to the chair. Had to figure out how to get it securely locked in by prying out a little lever. Once assembled, it seems fairly sturdy. I wanted a firm chair, and it is firm and supportive on the seat. The back leaves a little to be desired. There isn’t a lot of puffy padding, which is what I was looking for, but there is absolutely no lumbar support, and it gives quite a bit when you lean back on it. The reclining function works well, though you have to position yourself carefully in the fully reclined Position so it does not go back to the semi reclined. Overall, I like it, but it falls a bit short in supportive positioning. ... show more

Love this chair. So easy to assemble. Very comfortable. Easy to recline, one thing though, I have it against a wall, if I want to recline it I have to pull it away from wall first. Perfect size for me, in a studio and needed a exact size chair and this was it!!! Very solid chair. Great price too!!

I've never bought furniture online before so I thought I'd start with this chair as I plan on using it in a seldom used guest bedroom. I haven't moved it to the bedroom yet as I'm using it in my living room until I buy a chair, which I won't buy online. I ordered the light blue color and it is very close to what is shown in the picture. The chair came with some assembly required, you have to simply screw on the legs and the attach the back and wings. It's not too difficult to assemble but I think that because of that it's a little flimsy. The chair wobbles about if you rock it side to side. I noticed in one review that one side of the chair broke and I can certainly see that happening. I wouldn't recommend sitting in it with one leg over the side for sure. Because this chair is a bit flimsy I wouldn't recommend it for use in high traffic areas, thus the reason I'm buying my living room chair at the store so I can check it out before I buy it. This chair manually reclines which is not a problem unless you have a bad back, which I do, I've had some trouble getting it to recline. I suggest a darker color if you will use it regularly or cover the arms with something to keep the dirt from showing as I've already noticed a slight tinge on the arms from wear and tear. I did notice a slight snag on the front of the seat cushion, however, I won't return the chair because of that, I can simply through a shawl over it to cover that up once I get it into the guest bedroom. If you don't like the chair you only have 30 days to return it, just saying, but I like mine enough to keep it and may buy another one after I remodel my master bedroom. ... show more

I have a bad hip and some chairs hurt to sit in. My husband has been nagging me to get a recliner for awhile now, but I have been hesitant because I don't like the way recliners look. They're just too big and too bulky and I didn't want one in my living room - then I found this lovely little chair! It is so supportive, not at all bulky, and I think it is super stylish! It came in a very large box and my hubby had it together in just a few minutes! I love the attention to detail in this chair! The box arrived very damaged on one corner. I should have listened to my gut when I saw the crushed cardboard and not taken it out of the box. After assembled, the vertical armrest panel on one side fans away from the seat bottom edge at an outward angle causing the leg on that side to tilt inward to the floor. The other side looks normal. There were no screw/ bolt adjustments that could be made to correct the issue. The seat of the chair is quite firm and the overall width/depth of the chair is more narrow that what I thought from pictures. If you weigh over 140 pounds, you may want to consider a recliner with a wider, deeper, and softer seat/seat back. I did like the tufted seat back, the front spool legs, and nailhead trim. I'll be looking for another recliner in an actual store that I can see/sit in. ... show more

I'm a mental health counselor and sit in this chair for about 8 hours a day. After a few weeks, the cushion softened up and now it is the right amount of firmness which I believe is normal for these things. This is a great chair, and I love reclining when I have a cancelation. Don't put a 15lbs weighted blanket on the back though or else you might risk the chair falling over when it is reclined. The only thing I could see someone be concerned about with this chair is that if I was any shorter (I'm 5'4"), my feet wouldn't reach the floor if I sat all the way back. It definitely feels like a tall person chair. So far though, I haven't had back pain or anything! ... show more
