I had my doubts at first, but when I opened the box and saw how carefully it was packages, I thought to myself so far so good. When I took the case out I loved the feel and quality of it. I got this for my 12.9 as I take it everywhere with me and wanted something first and foremost protective, secondly I wanted versatility as I practically live in my truck. The case has not disappointed in the slightest. The price is amazing for all the angles you get and the tablet can be pulled separately from the rest of the case all the while still being protected. The protection as a whole for the camera, makes me feel better and even when I can remove my 12.9 from the main case, it still remains protected and unobtrusive. I have been through many different cases through the years and found most lacking in protection and quality. They were bulky at best and didn’t offer very much security. My PaperLike screen savers wouldn’t work well with the cases and I was getting very frustrated at the money wasted. I have put this case through the gauntlet this week and it has held up way past my expectations.I do recommend this for any professional or outdoorsy person. It looks professional for the office, but offers the rugged protection needed for hiking and camping ( within reason as this isn’t waterproof or dust proof.) I solve the dust and water situation with a USB-C port plug that solves the problem. The cover will automatically put my tablet to sleep when closed and the cover stays closed via the magnet. On a side note, I do not generally hand out 5 stars, however this case deserves 5 stars and a review from someone who puts it through its paces like I have. This case is everything I wanted for my iPad. The purple color is gorgeous, and the design makes my iPad feel incredibly secure. I have used many ESR cases with my iPads in the past and have loved all of them. The quality and function have always been excellent and always at a very good price. This one takes it to the next level in terms of functionality! Yes, it adds a little bulk to the thin and light iPad Pro, but for what it provides it is a worthy trade off in my opinion. I do not like a table case that requires snapping the tablet into the case the therefore making it much more of a hassle to get the table back out when you don't want the added bulk and covers of the case flapping around when you just want to hold it in your hands and use it...like a tablet. This cases addresses that by having the magnetic frame/case that the iPad goes into, but can just stay in all the time and then that is what magnetically attaches to the rest of this case, so I can have all the function of this case when I need it or just my iPad all on its own at any time, without any hassle. All the available viewing angles for watching content or even putting it down low for writing, drawing, or typing are excellent and they are sturdy. The cherry on top for me is the pencil holder! With other cases in the past, I often buy the self adhesive pencil holders from ESR that can attach to any case so that I have somewhere to safely store the pencil when not in use or just leave it on the iPad, draining the battery. This case having one built in a great extra feature. The only thing better than the case itself, is the price. I cringe to think what this would cost if Apple sold it with their logo on it. The value here for the price is incredible and worth every penny. I have recommended it to everyone getting the new M4 iPad Pro. ... show more

I love this case for all the built in positions it can be used in to display the ipad. It is highly protective, and I often just carry the ipad around in the basic case (without cover), because that’s ligher. It improves the grip on the ipad, and has a small bumper around the screen to protect from drops. I’ve had to pay for new ipad Pro screens before, and they aren’t cheap. With a screen protector plus this case I feel pretty confident that I’m less likely to drop it, and if I did, I may not have to get a new screen. Overall, this is a nice design, practical, looks good, and has many nice features. The only thing I don’t like is the sum total weight. If they could shave some weight off, this would be an easy 5 stars. ... show more
