However, I started volunteering for our local library book sales and found that I was in noticeable pain after lifting boxes of books for hours (duh.). I was working at a large warehouse picking orders, loading onto pallets - and most movements triggered my intense lower back pain. To avoid worsening my condition, I researched and chose this brand and model. It moved with me, didn’t increase my body temperature too bad ( anything tight especially around the abdomen when you’re active is going to tap body sweat - wear it over a tank or t-shirt.) I hand washed the brace every couple I’d days and never had an issue with loss of elasticity, it dried fairly quick - just make sure to wing it out well. My back felt so much better with the brace, it’s worth the price and more! Don’t push your back, reinjuring, worsening, or getting a whole new injury is not fun, and can create life long issues. Take preventative action now - get a comfortable back brace and protect yourself. ... show more

Waited a while to give this review, the first few weeks were great and offered a great deal of support. However the Velcro began to weaken as did the straps. They no longer had the support when we first bought it. Four stars simply for the fact that it didn't hold up. Worked well when it worked but didn't last long. ... show more

    • Perfect for quadriplegic with no core muscles

I don’t have any core muscles. I’m paralyzed from the chest down, and I’ve been looking for a good abdominal binder to help me to not fold over at my waist, so easily as I don’t have any core muscles. Before I was using these two different really long neoprene and Velcro straps that was a pain in the butt to get on and off. Plus they did not work very well. Well this belt takes care of all that and it’s super easy to put on on my own, and Three times as sturdy. I use it for Wheelchair Rugby and ever since I got this belt all my teammates have commented on how much faster I am and how much better I’ve gotten all thanks to this belt. My teammates are asking me where to buy the belt at. I 100% recommend this. ... show more

*Original review below- update: I wore this belt in and off for about 6 weeks and it WAS great support but its now a bit bent out of shape in the straps and velcro isn't sticking evenly. It is no longer all that comfortable and fits with random bulges from straps that wont stay in place. They flip or form ripples accross your body which binds uncomfortably and is very unattractive under clothes. So 1 star off for not having a lasting quality in the product and for lack od a longer return policy. This should be a 60 or 90 day window but I guess they know the timeline od their product , personally I find this unprofessional and it feels shady that this lasts just long enough to run you out of the return window. So a second atar down dor that. * This arrived on time and the fit is perfect for me. I normally wear a L/XL in tops which is what I ordered. The back support is very good and does reduce my pain levels, it fits well and feels comfortable. I love that it is adjustable and does not bind even after wearing all day. I wish the front portion was a bit taller at the top, so there isn't too much open space beneath the bra line. This brace has good construction, I hope it will last for some time. ... show more

This back brace is well-made and heavy duty. For me it’s a little uncomfortable, but it really does support the back well. I wear it but not all the time I wear it when my back pain gets really bad because it is very supportive but as I stated, it’s a little uncomfortable I’m a small person, so this really hold me in but because of the size that’s where it’s a little uncomfortable. I do like it, and I would recommend it to friends with the comment that if you’re a small person it covers most of your midsection up to almost your armpits. ... show more
