A really cool activity for grade school kids. Seems to have everything you need. If you paint all the shells included, you can find extra ones right where the water meets the land. Famously, this kit was used by a couple kids named Hansel and Gretel. They we walking in the woods and used them to mark their path. Got these for my niece and nephew to have an activity when I was tasked with watching them. The price seemed a bit high, but the quality and the fact they include real shells I think makes it worth the cost. We had fun painting for about 2 hours and the shells came out looking great. We painted several shells and although they did need more than one coat of paint, everything was great. The glow in the dark paints are not equal though. Only the yellow & green has a really bright glow, so we ended up using those for most of the pieces we wanted to glow in the dark. The other 2 glow paints do have some luminescence, but they are nowhere near as fluorescent. It didn't matter much to the kids, and they both said it deserves 5 stars despite the not so glowing blue and pink paints. ... show more

I really like seashells and the many sizes and shapes they come in. This art project taps into painting seashells and works their though process. You get paint brushes, paint tubs, sand and other things to design your own art. Let them run wild or provide pictures of sea animals for them to mimic.
