  • You'll need a UV light to cure it!
Size: 60g/2.12oz
I'm a jeweler & this is a great resin that I like to use when making inlay bands for my customers. I also happen to use a UV Glue Pen which basically has a similar UV adhesive in it along with the UV light. I just use the light on the pens & not the glue, for the adhesive inside the pen isn't as hard as this one is. But together they work GREAT!! The UV pen light cures what you shine it on in seconds. However, I still wait about 24 hours for it to completely cure. But that's just because there's depth to my inlay bands. As far as using this for a simple repair or quick little fix on a broken pair of glasses for example, it works great! But, again, you will need a UV light. The UV Light Pens are a great for just the common household fix it. But this particular resin is much harder, more durable, & will last a long time. BTW, don't ever leave the lid off by accident...it will solidify if you do that. I've learned from my mistakes! LOL! ... show more

  • Great stuff!
Size: 200g/7.05oz
Pros: 1. Cures quickly but gets HOT, so be careful! 2. Very clear. 3. Washes off with soap and water, or rubbing alcohol. 4. Doesn't smell too bad. There is some smell, particularly when curing, but it's not bad. 5. Mixes well with alcohol inks and pigment powders. 6. Domes nicely and is easy to spread across surfaces. 7. Cures hard! Cons: 1. Bubbles are difficult to get out if you don't take the appropriate steps before hand. Lighters don't really get them all out, especially if you pour too quickly. Heat it up with hot water before hand to make it more runny and less bubbly. Also, pour more slowly. 2. Gets E V E R Y W H E R E. I'm also just not a neat person, so that doesn't help. ... show more

  • An "okay" resin
Size: 200g/7.05oz
Bought this cause I was replacing my other uv resin of a different brand. I wanted to try this out because I though it was a good value since you get a pretty big bottle. It was easy to use and pretty clear. I use a uv/led lamp and by itself it cured fine, however when I added some alcohol ink it was still tacky and needed another layer of it just by itself on top for it to cure properly. I tried to use this uv resin to dome one of my resin pieces (made with an epoxy resin), but I found it was very runny compared to what I usually use. And I don't know if you can tell in the picture but the one on the left is this resin and its much flatter than the one on the right. It had the usual curing, resin smell so I wasnt too bothered by it, but it heats up a lot! Also shrinkage was pretty bad, although not sure how I feel about that since I'm not really using this to cast anything. ... show more

  • READ BEFORE PURCHASE!!!!!
Size: 60g/2.12oz
Ok so I used this to cover my sublimation pet tags so they won’t chip, I do acrylic nails fairly often so I’m familiar with uv setting Products. Once I cured this under my lamp IT WAS STILL STICKY as others described, however I took my $6 no wipe Uv gel Topcoat I use for my nails and went over it, just like painting it on fingernails! Cured that and it is completely dry, the up topcoat also gave it a nice shine, crystal clear appearance and extra layer of protection. It also evened out bumps. I highly recommend this but if you are going to purchase, throw in any NO WIPE manicure gel topcoat for $5/$6 same process as gel resin for manicures! Lay it on thick and cure for 90 seconds. The actual product sat and cured beautifully, my only complaint was the sticky layer at the end but that is a easy cheap fix! Sounds insane but it is such an easy step to make a beautiful product! ... show more

  • Great Epoxy with UV Flashlight
This is the best stuff for ring sizing, when you don't have the equipment or skill to solder your jewelry. There is no smell and I am really sensitive to smells and it cures quickly. When I've used to much on a ring, I can just pull it out with a tool. You need something that will stick into the resin and forces it out. I've just ordered my second bottle and a rechargeable UV flashlight. I wanted a new flashlight because I was tired of replacing the batteries. That's how much I like this stuff. ... show more

  • Takes a million years to dry
Size: 60g/2.12oz
It took three days for my clay charms to dry using this resin! I used UV lamps to cure the resin but that didn't seem to work, so I tried putting them in front of a window (direct sunlight) to cure and that seemed to help but still took a long time before they weren't sticky anymore. I was worried that my clay charms would be ruined or I would have to try another coat of resin, which sucks because I spent so much time making them so if they were ruined I would be very upset. I will say that once they dry it looks great. Its very glossy and easy to apply, so it technically does what it should but I was very worried the three days that I had to wait for it to dry! So if you are in a rush for whatever you're making to dry I wouldn't suggest this one. ... show more

  • How to avoid shrinkage and tackyness
Very easy to use once I did some trail and error. This cures fast under LED UV which caused shrinkage and cutting down the curing time left the surface tacky. The best method I came up with was first quickly set it with your stronger UV then switch to a weaker UV lamp ( I used a blacklight) for a longer period. My cure time for my 12volt LED was between 30-60 seconds then I removed it from the mold onto a smooth clean surface (hand mirror) then put it an hour under the blacklight. ... show more
