  • Easy to work with. Great results!
Size: 2 Gallon
I have worked with a few different brands of epoxy resin for river tables, and so far this is my favorite (and a reasonable price as well)! It was easy to work with as both poured very nicely. I also appreciated how deep of a pour I was allowed to do. The included mixing utensils are a nice added bonus as well. Now to see how it holds up in the long run. ... show more

  • Easy to use
Size: 1 Gallon
Used for first time ever. Watched a video for tips for use. Put 1/4” layer in 2 layers over this 52” table. 2 gallons total. (The imperfections in photo is just glare from overhead lights.)Simple to use, totally clear, no bubbles. Exactly what I needed and wanted. This is a great product.

  • This resin is high quality—you just need to choose the right product for your project.
Size: 1 Gallon
I want to share my experience with the epoxy resin I've been using for several years now, and yes, all works in the photo are made using this resin. I often see negative reviews about this resin's quality, but I want to say that it's really great and worth every penny. It's important to understand that different types of epoxy resin have different characteristics: curing speed, smell, toxicity level, and flexibility. These qualities are interconnected and can significantly affect the outcome depending on what you're using the resin for. For instance, this particular resin is perfect for mold casting. It has the right flow and curing time, which helps achieve excellent results. However, it's not meant for creating waves or coating tumblers because it's too runny for those purposes. And that's okay! I get that it can be inconvenient when you buy resin for a small project and expect it to work for everything. But if the resin doesn't work out, it's not the product's fault; it's more about choosing the wrong type of resin for your specific use. This resin is high quality—you just need to consider its properties and choose the right product for the job. Please keep this in mind when selecting resin, and your projects will turn out great! ... show more

  • It's pretty good for the price
Size: 64 Ounces
But it's not as crystal clear as I was hoping. It has a very slight cloudiness to it after it cures. It was in a pressure pot for nearly two days over the course of three pours in the photos with the seed pod. It was in a pressure pot for about 30 hours with the d20. And 24 hours with the Petri dish trial. Everything had a bit of a white smokiness to it. It also didn't have a good reaction to the Petri Dish method. It never cured properly in the very center of the bottom (which would become the top after coming out of the mold), and around the edge on the side where the alcohol inks were introduced (top while still in the mold). I'm sure it would be fine to be colored with alcohol inks, but the excessive amount used to try to make a Petri Dish made it fail just a tiny bit. It's been about a week since I made that, and it is still sticky in those spots. Plus, the inks did not "blorp" like they were supposed to. Though, I have had a problem getting that brand ink to work, I have not had a problem with the excessive amount of alcohol ink making other resins not set up properly. I do like that the jugs have a handle. That makes it easier to pour with control. The mouths on the bottles are very wide, but I'm used to that with the style silicone rubber I use. But they do dribble a bit when you stop pouring. And the price was great. It's the cheapest resin I could find. Literally half the price of what I was using. And 1/3 the price of what I'm going to be buying next. All in all, it will probably work fairly well as long as you don't need it to be crystal clear. It is a slow cure, but it's supposed to be good for deep pours. I was going to do a two inch pour, but the seed pod started to float, so I had to do three smaller pours instead of two. I'm sure it would have been fine if I had been thinking! XD ... show more

  • NOT like other resin!
Size: 2 Gallon
I use Amazon to purchase pretty much everything in my life these days, and I rarely write reviews but feel obliged to warn other artists against using this product. I saw the great reviews and it seemed like a fair price for the 2 gallon kit I purchased, and I didn't think much of it. I've been using epoxy resin for a while now and have had no issues with other brands, so I was not at all prepared for the disaster that would ensue from using this product. I mixed the product just as instructed, just as I have with other brands. I loved that it came with mixing cups and tools, and it made a good first impression on me. Once I began using it as a varnish on my acrylic paintings, though, I realized something wasn't right. It wasn't covering the surface of my canvas. I thought I must have mistakenly gotten some oil or something on my canvas causing it to repel. So after that layer, I sanded it down, made sure to wash it thoroughly and only handle with gloves on so that no oils would get onto the canvas. Confident my piece was clean and free of oil or debris that could impact the resin, I poured another layer of resin down - same thing happened. It left my work full of dimples that I have never experienced with any other epoxy resin kit, doing nothing differently. I thought I was going crazy and used the rest of this resin kit to varnish some pieces that I had done on wood as well as glass - same thing happened. So I am now 1000% positive it was the resin itself and not a result of user error. Additionally, I used some in casting molds which actually was the best use of this brand of resin in my opinion, since I had issues with it repelling and leveling properly as a varnish on 3 different types of surfaces, the molds actually had zero issues EXCEPT that it takes FOREVER to harden, which I have read in other reviews of this product. Other epoxy resin brands typically harden in my molds in about 24 hours. The ones I did with this brand of resin are still soft days later. I deeply regret wasting money, but mostly a ton of time and effort using this product on my work which I now will have to sand down yet again and refinish with a better brand! Due to this ending up being incredibly costly with my time and so negatively impacting my work flow, I must warn other artists who are considering using this product in similar ways. I would VERY strongly encourage you to try a different brand. Lesson learned! ... show more
