The media could not be loaded. Update: I originally wrote this: Many parts are plastic. Seems ok, but NO DIRECTIONS. Not sure how strong it will hold up once we get the lamps on it. A little concerned. SINCE actually using it, have found it to need a better weighted foundation. The first part of the arms do not move. It seems ok other than flopping forward which I think could pose a firehazard with hot lamps. I think it needs to be reengineered… I think if the arms could be adjusted and there was a second side to balance the bottom or weight it, it would actually be very good! ... show more

I ordered a smaller version of one of these that clamps onto the top of the cage. It required lot of steps just to loosen up and open the enclosure and was a bit time consuming, but this stand that I recently ordered has been perfect with the sturdiness, simple to assemble, and easy to use without any unnecessary steps. The concept is cool but the lamp stand itself constantly tips over . Both lamps have to have the weight distributed equally so it doesn’t fall over . More so a pain than anything

    • perfect for my panther chameleon cage
I needed an extra tall stand with hooks to accommodate my tall panther chameleon setup. The first one I owned had a single arm but I soon learned I needed one with 2 arms/hooks to hang both the light and the dripper. I use a medical enteral feeder (for humans) as my dripper, so it needs like an IV pole, but this hook works beautifully. This stand is easy to put together, sturdy, and comes with clips for cable management. The arms are moveable and can be positioned close together or far apart, higher or lower. I like the product over all. Mine didn’t come with instructions so I winged it and figured it out ok. The little square shaped pieces confused me for a moment until I figured out they were for holding cords. It’s a little wobbly so I put a weight on the bottom.
