I have identical Recessed Ceiling Lights installed two years ago. A few of them died and I had to order new ones. I installed new ones without a junction box. To my surprise, it did not work. I had to replace the existing junction box to make it work. Replacing the junction box is a lot harder than altering lights. Both recessed lights are identical as seen on pics. It could have been a more efficient installment by making the junction compatible with previously purchased Recessed lights of the same model. The pic shows both models are identical. The one with larger letters printed is the old version and the description with small letters is the new version I recently purchased. Suggestions to the product owner. 1. You can sell the recessed lights without a junction box and reduce costs for buyers. 2. Ensure the existing junction will work with lights bought a few years ago. I've had these lights installed for a year and a half. I installed five of the six lights. They seem good. They are on for probably six hours a day. One light went out after a year. The rest are running great currently.

I bought the 6in 5000k dimmable daylight and have had no issues. I'm going on 2 years with them installed and have not had one issue. Just replaced the hall lights and my laundry room with them as well. Super happy with my purchase ☺️
