Almost immediately the timer malfunctioned. It would wildly shoot up in time from whatever I had programmed to a different time..I worked around this by setting my own timer (which is ridiculous to have to do). Now it stops working and shuts off immediately when in use. I've unplugged. Restarted. It is a total waste of money worst kitchen electronic I've ever purchased. ... show more

I like the more subtle retro look of this microwave compared to the Nostalgia brand that my wife and I were also considering. Took a good 10 minutes to figure out how to set a specific time that wasn't a multiple of 30 seconds by hitting the quick start/+30 button, so it's definitely not intuitive to use, that's the main reason for the deduction of 1 star. It's only about 13 inches wide. I just need it for heating or defrosting things, and the occasional baked potato. And popcorn. I think microwaves can be an eyesore, but this one isn't.

Works fine but giving it lower rating because I don’t understand many of the buttons/knob. Still can’t figure out how to enter cook times. the knob feature is set to picking different power modes, and I can’t figure out how to switch it to work the cook times. Which I’m pretty sure it should switch to based off the instructions, but doesn’t work for mine. So I have to just keep clicking the express button until I reach my desired cook time. Other then that (which is pretty frusterating) it works fine. Color matches the photo which is really the only reason I bought this one. ... show more

I decided to order this 800W microwave instead of another 1100W. It’s a little smaller, but exactly what I need. I actually like the way it cooks, and heats up food, much better. For example….the first thing I heated up was a frozen French bread pizza. It took a little longer (10 to 20 seconds) but it was perfection. The French bread was soft and delicious…in my old microwave it would have been hard and overcooked and that’s using the recommended heating time. ... show more
