This review is based on the homeless to whom I've donated these blankets. These blankets serve two purposes. One, they keep the homeless warm by retaining their body heat while sleeping on the sidewalk. Two, They repel rain and keep them warm when it rains, as it is now raining in California. They'll place a blanket over themselves and the emergency blanket to keep them dry and warm. I don't know how long they last since they're not meant to be used on a daily basis.
