Purchase this for use on zoom calls and use it daily. Love the adjustments, that allow for different brightness, levels and warmer or cooler lighting. The stand is adjustable and sturdy, despite being light, so it is easy to move around. On some occasions, I forget to turn it off After a meeting and appreciate all the light that it provides me in my desk area. There are only a few parts so assembly is straightforward. Although I haven't used it yet for this purpose, it would be very handy for photographs. The lighting makes me look better (and younger) on zoom calls, so no complaints here! The height of the stand is amazing! It also isn’t wobbly like others I have seen so I don’t have to worry about it falling over. It does come with extra phone holders that I am not sure where they go. It also doesn’t say in the instructions. The brightness is amazing and I like that it is adjustable with a remote so I don’t have to get up, adjust and repeat until it is perfect. I also like that it has different lighting modes. Others I have seen you have to replace panels to get a day light where this one is a simple click of a button! ... show more

    • Good build quality for the price, but defective nonetheless
When I opened the package, I was surprisingly pleased with the build quality for my $18. Fit my space, easy remote, was reasonably sturdy and all was good. Until I turned it on. The product will spontaneously turn on/off, or change color temperature. I may be using it for a Zoom and it turns off suddenly. Or, it may be off and I walk away for 5 minutes and my dark room is lit up. Sure, you can plug it in when using, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a remote. Also, the plug block the USB was inserted into got very warm when the light was in use for any period of time. While I’d almost be willing to overlook the hassle of unplugging/plugging in for the bargain price, the overall experience is very annoying and the product should be avoided. FWIW, I am not the first to complain of this issue (see other reviews), but took a chance that I would have better luck. Oh, well. ... show more

I really like it and it works pretty good! Only thing I would say is that at the top the light it goes in and out. But other than that I love it!

    • Good and cheap way to get your zoom calls looking better
I needed some extra light for zoom meetings. This light is big and bright enough and the stand is tall enough. I have it set up behind my desk so that it lights up my face for video calls. You can adjust the brightness so that you don't blind yourself. On lower brightness it still lights up your face just fine while not burning out your retinas. It also comes with two remotes. One remote controls the light directly, letting you turn it on/off, adjust brightness, and adjust color temperature (warm, cold, or a combination of both). The other remote is a bluetooth shutter remote you connect to your phone so you can mount the phone on the light stand and snap photos with the remote in your hand. Good for selfies I suppose, though I only use it for video meetings. The light is powered by usb. It only comes with the cable. No power brick. However my monitor has usb ports so I just use those to power the light. I'm never going to use the light outside of video calls so this works out perfectly for me. ... show more
