I searxhed for days and looked at a ton of comforters before buying this one. It comes very flat, but once it fluffs up, its very fluffy. Its a little heavy for my taste, but I can deal with that. The other thing thats kinda annoying is that it only has the 4 corner tabs for a cover to attach to. The covers that I bought have at least 8 spots to tie insert to. This is comparable to the down comforter that I used while traveling. The hotel linens were amazing. This comforter becomes so fluffy. The individual baffles create soft and separate pillows with even filling from corner to corner. It’s so fluffy that the duvet cover is so full and light. Sleeping with this duvet is definitely for year round. It offer warmth in the winter, but in the warmer months is light and breathable so that I can’t still cuddle up with a luxurious comforter. I got this comforter to alternate with our regular one when it’s being washed. This comforter is more compact than most (it needs a little breathing time to expand after being vacuum-sealed) and also a little heavier, though my husband and I both liked that feeling. Although this is a true down comforter, it is definitely not as fluffy as the photos. The gray is much lighter in color also. It will do its purpose, but I would have loved to have had one like the photos show. If you are looking for a down comforter with lots of fluff, this is not for you.
