I ended up sending this one back because it was a bit too big but did end up buying a smaller one. The sides do get very hot. the dish itself conducts heat and the silicone covering does NOT help much in the way of being able to pull it out of the microwave without a towel or anything to hold it with. It very difficult to just touch the silicone and not the glass, which-again-is VERY hot. Cannot use it for soup, which is what I bought it for. Not a fan. ... show more
