I threw out all my tupperware when I saw a Nat Geo documentary discussing how food plastics were disrupting your endocrine system. It gets old having your tupperware melt in the microwave and stain anyway. I have had my ello for 2+ years and they’re comparable to pyrex in durability and pyrex is some cool stuff. I find you never have to worry about matching lids with these. They clean well in the dishwasher (bottom rack for glass and top rack for lid). They reheat evenly with the lid removed and temperature requirements permitting you can go from oven to fridge or fridge to oven which makes food prep and reheat a breeze. Just the right size for a three meal a day food prep. About 2 cups size. Haven’t had any problems with liquids spilling when I put soup in them. Some people hate the lids but I don’t think they’re hard or fussy. I love the silicone sleeves are cute colors and can be used to color code your foods if you really wanted to get into it. Make your fridge beautiful to look in. Stack neatly. The silicone seals and sleeves are removable. I will soon be buying the salad bowls. ... show more

I have shelves, not cabinets and these refreshing items bring it all together. Giving it a nice splash of color in the sea glass, white and wood. Nice thick glass bottom with thick airtight lid. My food has been remaining fresher or edible longer in the fridge. And of course shorter time heating up in the microwave. With the colorful rubber exterior which is removable and microwaveable. (Maybe not for long but I’ve done up to 7min) you don’t worry about glass chipping or clanking on other surfaces. And you don’t have to worry about the infamous finger print being everywhere. The media could not be loaded. My boyfriend and I are big meal-preppers. We’ve been using Ello containers for a few years now! These are the perfect size for our lunches throughout the week. I love that they stack nicely and they are easy to take on-the-go. They fit in my small lunch bag with extra room for drinks and snacks. The lids have a good seal so it keeps our food fresh for the entire week. They’ve lasted us a really long time and are very high quality. Okay .. Items doesn’t leak when you have to carry .. Upside for minutes by accidentally or intentionally.. No leakage.. rubber covers easily removed and easy to clean..
