Upon opening its a bit overwhelming as there seems to be a lot of parts. But read through the install guide at least once and the rest is easy going. Installed in a garage on the studs. Note that the install guide tells you what you need, make sure you go get it all from the hardware store otherwise you will make yourself angry as I did going back and forth. Solid 5-Star Mount! I can't imagine how I could possibly mount a recessed 50" LCD TV unless the mount extended the way this one does. With only a 3/4" gap between the TV and the enclosure there is NO WAY to pull off this setup unless you can pull the mount out, attach the TV, then push the mount back in. And as precise as I was in laying everything out, you're still dealing with wood, so there's always going to be a small degree of error. Even if you drill pilot holes for the mount, you might still be a fraction of an inch off. Wood will take your drill bit wherever it wants to. With this mount, you can make micro-adjustments to the horizontal alignment to correct for that margin of error, as well as slide the TV left or right slightly along the mount to get it centered in the opening. This is the perfect mount for this project and I would order it again hands down for the next project. I don't even think I'd search for a better alternative, if one exists, that's how good this mount is. Now I need some way to get that thing up onto the fireplace and add a mantle. BTW, the 1" x 6" mahogany used is $30 a stick, somewhere around $8 a board foot. And I still need to add a 2" x 12" mantle. Ouch. ... show more

The TV wall mount from ELIVED is a super sturdy and well made mount, fits most 37 to 82 inch tvs and was a perfect fit for my 65 inch Samsung tv, this tv mount has a really smooth motion thanks to the 8 bearings even when holding a heavy tv, you can extend, swivel and tilt the tv to your liking. installation is easy and the mount comes with all the hardware and tools you need for installation they even included a plastic level which i think is a nice touch. this is a very quality tv mount and well recommended. ... show more

This is a good solid TV mount. Seems light but somewhat heavy-duty and easy to install. Not sure if this can really handle anything bigger than 55" TV. It is lighter than other TV mounts I've gotten for our 70" TV, in the past. I did not attempt to use this the 70" because, well, I just don't trust it will be adequate. Although my husband seems to think that it should be fine with the 70" or larger TV's. Personally, I will use this in our RV, since it appears to be pretty sturdy and seems to be more lightweight than most of the other mounts we've gotten.
