I bought this wall mount since we had just built a wall-mounted entertainment center with 12" deep shelves and a specific TV cutout in the middle, so I wanted a mount that we could use to easily pull the TV in front of the shelving, while also being able to attach securely in the location that we wanted. Our studs are 16" apart, but because of how the only accessible stud in the TV cutout was right in the center, I really appreciate the wider mounting plate so that I at least had a chance of hitting another stud. I ended up using 3 of the lag bolts to drill into studs, 2 near the middle where my main stud is and 1 in the bottom-right where I had a horizontal piece of wood going across. Between the 3 lag bolts and the 8 additional screws I added with Toggler drywall anchors, this mount is incredibly sturdy, even when the TV pulled out to its maximum length. This mount worked perfectly for my entertainment center situation and I definitely recommend it for others who have to mount a TV in a specific spot without being able to move it to the best location to hit multiple studs, though definitely use high-weight drywall anchors if you are only able to position the mount across a single stud like our situation. Pros: - Easy to install (the included template matched perfectly, and it even had the bonus of a tiny bubble level) - Sturdy metal construction. No sag or bending. - Easily holds my older 58" Vizio TV - Wide range of motion (forward and back and swivel left and right) - Easy VESA mounting hardware and plenty of screws for different TVs - VESA mounting on the TV could be easily adjusted up or down if you want to raise/lower your TV an inch or two without moving the mount attached to the wall - Easy cable management along the extendible arm without pinching the cables when the arm retracts. Cons: - You need a wrench(provided) to adjust 2 different things, both the up-and-down tilt of the TV and the tilt of the TV (in order to level it once on the wall). Needing a tool for level correction is no big deal, but it is slightly annoying to require it to change the up-and-down tilt. - The frame is designed to put more weight on the left side of the mount where it is attached to the wall (this is where the arm holding the TV is attached), instead of in the middle of the mount where the weight could be most evenly distributed, so it is very important to secure the left side well ... show more

Extended reach of arms allows me to rotate my 65" TV +/- 90 degrees from the wall. TV is in a weird spot between rooms where I want to be able to watch it from either room. This allows me to turn the TV in either direction. Very sturdy and well built. Design of TV hanger makes it easy to attach TV & bracket to the mount. ... show more

Seems well made, easy installation. However, I failed to note when ordering that the hinge is all the way to the left, not the center ( where i made my measurements from). It barely extended to the distance I required. Not manufacturers fault. Tilt and leveling adjustments worked perfect. Would buy again. ... show more

I installed this onto a cinder block wall in my basement. Getting the correct anchors was a little tricky but once installed the mount works great. I haven't had reason to move the TV around a lot so far, but each time I have the motion has been smooth and easy, and it feels very solidly attached to both wall and TV. ... show more

I looked at a loooot of different mounts online and decided on this one due to the long extension, price, and look. Almost got one with the single stud wall mount but I wanted something that could hold more weight than just the TV just in case. Install was easy, it has a paper template to help. U will need a studfinder, a drill with I think a 5/8 drill bit for pilot holes, and a socket or wrench for the bolts. The bolts/screws are huge, not a Philips head like some. Or have someone do it for u. It was my first time but I mounted it in about 20 minutes. It works well and it can go completely 90 degrees from the wall with my tv, I think it's a 50 inch or 52. I pulled on it pretty hard and it didn't budge. Rotation is smooth. Good price. ... show more

    • I used this for a corner mount instead of an actual corner mount and it worked.

When I pulled this out the box I was shocked. It super heavy duty and Held my 75" with no problems. The instruction were easy to use. I do wish the Screw to put the braces on the back of the TV came in a different size beside 2inch and half inch. I worked it out by using another plastic washer which did the trick. I was able to use this mount instead of Corner mount. The Arm extension is Key. I used a 15in at first and it did not actually put it in the corner. I just rented a house and I came in with a 72 inch flat screen. A problem we had is that the rental home had a cut out for an older tv to be mounted (about a 23 inch box cut into the wall) I was able to mount my tv and extend the mount to coverup and use the terrible box hole in the wall. I love it!
