I was staying at an airbnb and they had this blanket. The blanket was so soft, so warm, so deeply comfortable that I had to search for the tab, and subsequently Amazon, to buy my own. It was waiting at my house by the time I returned from my trip. I ordered a king size for my queen size bed. Suddenly my husband and I aren't fighting for covers all night. Suddenly my too hot husband, and me (his too cold wife) are BOTH a comfortable temperature. Seriously. Read that again. It's like magic. It doesn't make sense. I don't understand it. I want someone smarter than me to explain it with diagrams on a white board. You're gonna take it out of the bag and think "nonsense, this could never keep me warm, it's too thin" but then you will get underneath it, and in a few minutes you will understand. When this first arrived, the first thing I thought was that it was thinner than I expected. I immediately thought it was prime for a return. As I always do with Amazon, though, I give them a fair shot. After all, they are the king of good customer service and deserve some honor for that. Hence, I used the blanket. Guess what? It won me over! It turned out to be the perfect blanket for what I needed. Seriously. I'm not too hot, and I'm not too cold, I'm just right. Now mind you, it works in conjunction with other coverings, but it worked perfectly for me. It surprised me with it's insulation value and softness. A little bit goes a long way if it's made of the perfect materials for it's use and fits the conditions well. I happily give this 5 stars ... show more

This blanket contains a very lightweight fill that sifts through the outer layer. It looks like tiny threads sticking out of the fabric. The blanket washed well and was a very good price. I will use the blanket, but would have preferred something heavier in the fill that would not protrudes through the outer fabric. ... show more

I have ordered 4 of these blankets in the last 6 months. I love them I ordered for both twin beds , that my grand kids sleep in when having a sleepover they are more Lightweight but provide warmth. Nice silky on the trim I don’t like blankets that shed and these don’t I Also Ordered 1 for snuggling up watching Tv. & for master bedroom. I ordered a pastel pink-. A medium blue a navy blue & an Ivory All the colors match what I wanted I guess I will now order for wedding presents 🥳 since I don’t need any more ... show more

    • Didn’t get what I ordered.
I ordered this and it arrived on time, but just as I open it was a different color. When I emailed for exchange for the color I ordered, they asked me to send a picture of the item 🙄 I couldn’t believe it. I was asking for an exchange. Then I received a refund and was told to keep it, because it was not worth sending back. What the heck. I washed it and sent it too my daughter anyway. She loved it anyway. So I guess it kinda worked out. I did get a king size. My daughters in college and she has a full size bed. It works for her. ... show more

This blanket is a lighter purple color than what i was hoping for and the ribbon is a shiny contrasting other purple than the blanket too. I am trying buying bedding to coordinate with sheets i already own that are a deep dark eggplant color. This blanket is more what i call lavender versus being the dark eggplant i need. The stitching of the squares was also interesting to other blankets in my home. they are the smallest squares i have seen on a king sized item so far. Just different for me thats all. I will have to keep searching for a dark eggplant purple colored blanket. In the mean time it is doing its blanket job. ... show more

I bought 4 of these in different sizes and colors and then one of another brand (my daughter wanted a pink one). These are perfect! I like these better than the pink one. They are soft and very flexible so they wrap around your body comfortably. The satin trim around the edges is as soft as the blanket (the other one had a really stiff border). I have washed two of them now and they came out of the washer and dryer in pristine condition so they hold up well. My son wraps it around himself at nigh insead of using the comforter on his bed. It gets chilly in our house at night but he seems to be comfortable using only this blanket so it must be warm but it is very light weight. Really does feel very much like down.
