I use it several times a week. So far, it's worked great. The wheat bread is especially delicious, and I don't usually like wheat bread. The ability to make larger-sized loaves is great if you have a family. I'm going to make pasta dough and see how it handles semolina next. There is no setting for this, so I'll adjust the timer for kneading the dough. I haven't used it to make jam or yogurt yet. It's a little noisy, but for the price, I can live with it. I got this bread machine because I was looking for something easy to use to replace my old Cuisineart. Love the color and the kneading/baking function works well. My complaint is towards the recipes. The instructions say you MUST use their measuring spoon/cup so trying to stick to that but the taste is just awful! Not sweet/not salty/bitter after taste. I bought fresh ingrediencies twice and it is not that. I dont know if anyone else had the same problem but the recipe directions provided are not right. I will attempt a non Elite Gourmet recipe next hoping to get a better result. The texture and color of bread is great just flavors lacking. ... show more

Years ago I had a bread maker, and I started to watch on YouTube all the advantages of all the different breadmakers and I kept coming back to this one. It was compact, made three different size loaves, and had a variety of things you could make can use for it. I finally settled on this, plus the price was pretty good too so I was happy. However, twice now I have made one mistake which I hope you don’t. That is after you wash it put the blade back in place. That way you will not forget like I did and start your dough and wonder why it’s not moving. Today I’m on my third loaf end it is not going fine however, I really made a mess when I didn’t have the blade in place. I love it its compact fits neatly on my counter next to the Black & Decker maker fryer oven. I’ve got my mic . Since my stroke a couple years ago, I have bought in several mini appliances and have used all of them and now the elite has joined my group. I am truly happy and pleased with the results that I’m getting. I hope that when you buy it, you will be as happy as I am with it, it is very easy to use and the program it is very easy. It might sound crazy but I actually enjoy using the different programs and checking to see which one I want to use. Plus I like having the fact you can choose your color of the crust. anyway, if you decide to choose this, I truly hope that you will enjoy as much as I am. I have no doubts that this bread machine isn't as good as the $400 top of the line machines, or even just baking it in the oven yourself, but it's very handy for those on a budget that just want to throw in the ingredients, sit back, and let the machine do all the work. I haven't had any problems with it and have made plenty of yummy bread loaves. My one and only stipulation is the fact that you have to MAKE SURE THE LID IS FULLY CLOSED after you open it for any reason, because it usually just stays cracked instead of falling back into place to fully close itself. There have been many times where I open the lid to check on the dough, close it and walk away, only to come back later to see that the lid was cracked the whole time because it needed to be pushed a centimeter to the left. I don't know if this affects the bread making process at all, but I'm not a fan of this one drawback either way. ... show more
