First and foremost, this design is absolutely stunning. It is so elegant and high class that it makes my entire kitchen look more modern. The water boils consistently, quickly and well. My tea tastes phenomenal. The packaging was great & protected the kettle from any damage through shipment. The matte color made the kettle stand out even more. I have purchased larger electric kettles in the past and a have found that they don’t last. This one is perfect for my needs and the price is exceptional! It holds just over 4 cups of water, heats quickly and looks great on the counter. The base is a little light but it works without issue. I particularly like that it is easy on my wrist when holding the kettle. It’s a little more awkward to pour water into the kettle than my old one as the lid doesn’t open to a complete 90 degree angle but still not a problem overall. I also like that it uses less amps than most kettles which means that if you have several kitchen counter appliances on same circuit, it is less likely to trip the GFCI. ... show more

This is probably my 6th electric tea kettle as I did not discover their perfection until later in life. I do prefer one with temperature controls but alas, that isn’t in the budget right now. This has a large capacity and works well. I like the cool touch plastic casing feature. The pour spout is where I see the only issue, it does like to dribble and spill a little bit. But I can live with that. The min/max lines are only inside the kettle, so just be aware. Love how shiny and black it is on the counter. The media could not be loaded. It boils real quick, 7 minutes to boil 7 cups of water! My brother brought one of smaller volume (1L) and he highly recommended it. I believe that I need a bigger one hence I chose the 1.7L which also look nicer. The appearance of this kettle is cool. It's such a pleasure to see the LED light on and the water gradually starts to boil. That's why I prefer a glass pot. The best part is that it turns off on his own once the water boiled to a certain point. But be careful, the glass pot gets hot when the water starts to boil. I have used this electric kettle 3 times and I love it! It is lightweight and sturdy. I have not experienced any leakage. The water heats quickly, making it easy to make a quick cup of tea. The clear glass provides a great visual to see the light that turns on as the bubbles rise up to the water's surface as it boils water. When it reaches the appropriate temperature the light shuts off and you hear a soft click indicating the kettle was turned off. I appreciate the way the base does not hold heat, which keeps the counter or table from heating up. The handle stays nice and cool as well. The only parts that felt hot to me where the bottom of the electric kettle itself, not the base it rests on top of, and the glass. I also love the safety auto shut off feature. When the water reaches a boil, the LED light switches off and you hear a soft click sound as it turns off the kettle. I really like that feature. It eases my mind. I love that this little kettle heated to the perfect temperature for tea in just a few minutes. It holds enough water for two cups which is perfect for my needs. It seems to be well constructed and functions as it should. It was easy to use and it’s elegant to look at! Love it!
