This is a great replacement for a cheaper type that died. Much more powerful & larger whisk circle. There's only 2 caveats which I felt needed to be mentioned but don't subtract from the 5 stars I gave: 1. Due to arthritis & aging gnarly hands, I found it difficult to hold & turn on - an on/off switch would have worked better for me. But for those of you with still muscular thumbs & fingers, not a problem. I think, in time, I'll figure out an easier way. 2. It is much more powerful than the squeaky little thing I received free with some coffee related purchase - hence, I had to clean up the counter a couple of times before I realized that I could just put less coffee in the cup or use a bigger mug. I use sugar & powdered whole milk in my coffee - this mixed it quite nicely leaving no lumps like the previous frother left. Great little frother, love the red color since I can find it. Will figure out the arthritis & fill logistics eventually. UPDATE: had this for a couple of weeks now & although the arthritic hands haven't changed (I wish), I have managed to learn how to hold it in such a way that I can moderate the speed once I get it going...damn you, old thumb! Anyway, it's a great little gadget. TIP - If you bought the one without the stand, rinse it, wipe off &/or point the whisk part down. I mix a lot of powders into drinks and was tired of having to wait for things to absorb and break apart so I could stir it in fully. This mixes all my drink powders in like 5 seconds without any clumps or chunks left on my mugs or glasses. Ridiculous how I love this thing already. Easy use. Easy clean up. Super powerful. I ordered this on a whim because my protein drinks were staying lumpy. This tiny little thing has some power! it does the trick. You do need to be careful because it will mix so well that the drink can shoot out the top! Id love it if there was a longer attachment for it as well for tall cups. right now i pour some of my drink into a mixing cup and stir in that. my mom saw it and liked it so much she has one now too and loves it. i am on my second one cuz i thought the batteries just died but when i changed them it never worked again. the price was right to just buy a new one tho ... show more

The frother works great as I use it to mix supplements, electrolytes, and occasional lattes too!. This is the 3rd frother I have purchased from Amazon. As with the prior ones, they stopped working and I replaced the batteries and then they wouldn't work. Elementi has excellent customer service and sent me a replacement the next day.
