This was a birthday gift to myself. I’m not one to splurge on lamps but this lamp was hard to pass by. My living room has gray walls with pops of black and spa blue accents and this lamp with the black shade and crystals is the perfect piece to tie into my room and bring the elegant bling. It arrived in perfect condition with a certificate of authenticity regarding the crystals. However, the assembly wasn’t the fastest. You have to put the crystals on one by one and I employed my husband to help hang crystals, which was a first for him. The directions were easy to understand, the only complaint is the metal clips on the crystals that are like thin key ring clips. You have to stick a finger nail to separate the metal pieces in order to clip it onto the lamp. That took me a while to accomplish. Once it was done and on my table it was all worth it- instant elegance and beauty and I can’t be happier. I’ve always loved the shaded chandelier look and now I own it. If you like a chandelier or candelabra, this is for you. I bought two for my night stands. They are gorgeous. It took me 2 minutes to assemble. I removed one star because I couldn't straight the shade of one of them, no matter what I do. But other than that I'm happy for the purchase.

I ordered two black lamps both ha glass crystals. One was delivered with broken crystals. I returned it for the lamp with the red shade. This lamp was not of the same of quality. It had plastic crystal holders and plastic crystals. These lamps were not advertised as different models of this lamp. I will be returning the lamp with the red shade.
