Purchased for my 8 year old who has shown interest in percussion. Item has wonderful sound and a nice variety of demo sounds to play along with. I especially like that headphones can be plugged in to the pad.

Fun little setup. Definitely more of a toy than for someone serious about their playing. Sounds generated are not sensitive to strike force as they would be on a real set, which helps a beginner sound better but might frustrate an experienced player. Also found on some pads you have to hit a specific spot or else it triggers one of the other recorded sounds (for example on mine the hi-hat cymbal pad has to be hit in a specific small area on its edge or else it actually triggers the crash symbol sound from the pad next to it). The sound quality is good considering the price. The auxiliary and headphone jacks are a must. Having the drums identified on the pads is also helpful.

Do not waste your time or your money on this product. This drum set is very poorly made. And the sound quality is horrible. It’ll be a huge disappointment to anyone who thinks they’re going to rock out in a band with this musical instrument.
